Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
Looks like Mou has a history with Paradas Ramos - On 7 November 2010, Mourinho was sent to the stand by referee Paradas Romero in a cup match against Murcia. After further questioning the referee's record he was given a two match ban and forced to apologize by the Spanish FA.

Surely you could have seen the idiocy of Ozil's red card and how easily it could have been rescinded and the Ramos first yellow was cancelled (as stated by official reasons).
The rest you're pretty spot on. Real Madrid has a ridiculous amount of influence in Spain...

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
Rui Fara was applauding to Ronaldo and said "good job" and got himself a red card (aka wasn't doing anything wrong) so he shouldnt even have a ban from the beginning
Özil got one for sarcasticly applauding, shouldn't even be a ban IMO. Everyone does that. (FYI, Pep and Xavi did too and got yellows)
Ramos was fair. His 1st wasnt a yellow.

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
In la liga a straight red card automatically means a ONE match ban, unless the authorities further sanction the player. A case in point, was when Pique received a straight red card in Barca's match against Gijon, despite his comments during and after the game, he was only banned for one match.

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
Sergio Ramos got his yellow card taken away because apparently there was something wrong on the match report yet when Guardiola was sent off and he said that the ref lied on the match report AND was proven right he still got punished(IIRC) and on top of that they still cry about the ref hahahahaha
That right there shows you how used they are to getting everything in their favour..

How does the rest of La Liga deal with having two largely intolerable sets of fans bickering back and forth about which of their teams (in a two horse race mind you) is less fortunate?

Considering the exact same thing goes on between Juve and Milan fans shouldnt you know the answer to that already?

With great disdain and cynicism. But from what I have seen and experienced, they are a bit more apologetic towards Barcelona than Real Madrid and honestly, I could see why.

Where are these threads?
I don't see them anywhere
Also Serie A is not a two horse race

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
Pepe - 2 games, fines: 180€ club/600€ player
Mourinho - 1 game, fines: 90€ club/600€ coach
Özil - 1 game, fines: 90€ club/ 600€ player
Faria - 2 games, fines: 180€ club/600€ coach
In the ref’s report, he wrote that Sergio’s first yellow was because of “persistently infringing the rules of the game”. Because Romero did not explicitly detail said offense, the committee decided to rescind the card.
Pepe was booked for “simulating an opponent’s aggression”. Images of him bleeding from the mouth showed otherwise.

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
idc who receives a card for a sarcastic clap (whether its a barca player or manu player inter player what ever) NO ONE deserves a STRAIGHT red for a sarcastic clap.
its just stupid.. the ref was trying to bring the attention on himself which takes away from the game by pulling all these ridiculous cards.

Re: José Luis Paradas Romero
leave him alone he has obviously never seen a star studded bench before, so his eyes were firmly fixed on that rather than the game that was still ongoing

What I don't understand is how can he listen to what Mourinho and his staff say 60 yards away in a packed out stadium AND referee the actual game? I don't think you can. The referee fixated on Mourinho.
He is so unprofessional it's unreal.

you rang?
there's like two representatives of the rest of la liga here so it's probably too small a sample size to judge lol... though from what i see on other forums, barcelona and madrid are hated equally
