I hope it's not Udinese, I am a fan of Di Natale but Udinese will get to Europe and sell people further weakening the team and poor Toto will be running about trying to make everything happen.

I would like to see Roma but my money is on Napoli.

Nah man I highly doubt it,I expect them to take their foot of the gas now that they have secured their stauts in Serie A for another season.
Maybe a Europa spot perhaps. hmm

I thought the same few matches ago but Montella is keen to prove him self worthy as tactician and I think he will get euro spot and will do everything to get it I really like how good he has become from tactical sense.

but still points prove that they've entered the batlle

I would love Napoli to finish third bacause they have team for CL , the others mentioned dont.I dont want to see Lazio or Udine qualifyng because we wouldnt make groups anyway.

After 38 games the table should look like this
1.Juventus
2.Milan
3.Napoli
4.Lazio
5.Roma

Serie A - Race for 3rd - Page 2 Empty 3rd in serie A!!! WHO IS GONNA Stay THERE STILL LAST MATCHDAY????

Post by maruf063 Sun Apr 01, 2012 9:56 pm

Lazio, Napoli, Udinese, and Roma are directly fighting for the last available UCL place. Inter (considering their 5-4 epic win over Genoa) and Catania (not so much with a chance) are also with in a shout. wonder, who is going to stay there till the last match day... My bet is on AS Roma since all their rivals are in worse shape at the moment. put your thoughts on that :coffee: :coffee:

Interesting that all of the contenders seem BADLY out of form, except Roma and Inter who are getting back on track fast. This is getting REALLY interesting Very Happy

I would hate Udinese to get it as all they do is sell their best players, and it would be a wasted slot for Italy. I dislike Lazio so they can rot for all I care.

Roma on the hand I like, but they are not ready for the Champions League. They should start in the Europa League first as I know they can win it.

Napoli should be the one to get it hopefully.

I would like to see the table at the end of the season:

AC Milan, Juve, Napoli, Roma,...

i hope to see Roma in the UCL next season not just because they are my favorite team, they can achieve something important for Italy in terms of co-efficient... i still want Inter to be in Europe because teams like Lazio and Udinese are total waste of European spots... they are just good for nothing :coffee:

I prefer Napoli or Roma to take it, really like both those teams. With the points Udi, Lazio, and Napoli have dropped in recent weeks, anything can happen.

The race for 3rd in Serie A is up there with curling and synchronized swimming as one the worst spectacles in world sport.

Nobody has the nuts to take it.

Hopefully Roma, still think Napoli will make it though. If they beat Lazio which I think they will and Juve should beat Lazio then it's Napoli's to lose.

Udinese are struggling too much in recent weeks.

I'd prefer Roma to get to get it as they're my second favourite team. Napoli or Inter would also be alright since they could actually accomplish something in the champions league, unlike Udinese or Lazio would both be a complete waste of a CL spot. Despite their terrible form right now, I think Napoli will get it in the end.

Lazio is boring...

Id really like to see Roma develop but Napoli is just so exciting. A little more money a little more work and some good luck and bam

So Lazio vs Napoli next week.

If Lazio win i will have to say that they are favorites for the 3rd spot.So thats a huge 6 pointer if you can call it from Lazio's perspective.

Roma this season have been way to inconsistent for me to really think that they would pull off a third place finish. That team is still under construction.

Personally i'm hoping to see Napoli in the cl again.
