Re: Pirlo vs Fiorentina
Emanuelson v Pirlo
Emanuelson was instructed to pick up Pirlo when Juve had the ball, and he struggled to dictate the play. Usually he plays 81 passes per game with 85.4% completion ratio, here he played 73 with 82% accuracy – not a huge difference, but his influence was less obvious.

Bantering really isn't your forte is it?
Especially when it involves the misfortune of a team who was relegated more than 20 years ago. So.... Your kind of clutching onto straws here.
Plus, Juve pretty much had to buy a scudetto didn't they? Much worse than LEGITIMATELY being relegated.
Btw, what was the score of Juve v Rimini in 2006/ 07?
Milan went into a period of decline, during which it was involved in the 1980 Totonero scandal and relegated to Serie B as punishment for the first time in its history. The scandal was centered around a betting syndicate paying players and officials to fix the outcome of matches.
LOL at bringing up the Totonero scandal. If you knew more about it then you would know it was an even bigger farce than the Calciopoli.
As evidenced by the mid year reduction of the bans and the internal dismantling of it's foundation until re-ordered by Monti.
Which is why no one brings this up as an embarrassment to Italian football but only the GdF.

Re: Pirlo vs Fiorentina
The funniest part of this thread is that people know as of today Xavi is way better, but guess what, there both 32 years old FFS. When you guys say back in the day Pirlo was better, but you may want to check what Xavi's done "back in the day". World cup, Euro cup, 3 CL's, Longest winning streak by a national team in the history of football etc etc. I mean I just want to remind you that this is when your saying Pirlo was better.
His national team and his club team have been dominating football for the last 4-5 years and he is the key piece in all of it.
You people who are saying Pirlo was better back in the day etc, why the huge drop off? Xavi hasn't dropped off one bit. In fact this will be one of Xavi's best years ever especially in goal scoring while Pirlo will put in a "vintage" performance every couple games.
I mean can you imagine Barca giving Xavi to Madrid because they can't use him anymore?
When Spain won the World Cup everyone knew it was Xavi's team and he was the best player on the team, when Italy won it they gave the Balon D'or to Cannavaro ffs, there defense carried that team not Pirlo. Everyone knows everything Spain does runs through Xavi, I mean the same people that are saying Pirlo is better now are probably the same people saying Messi is nothing with out Xavi, you can't have it both ways.
BTW, I like Pirlo but people act like Pirlo is 5 years older then Xavi or something.
I mean the records Xavi's teams can real off are endless.
Oh and also BTW, the person who brought up Xavi was a Pirolo fan not the other way around.

Just in case you forgot, Milan was found guilty in the calciopoli scandal.
And if not for an appeal, you would not have played in the champions league in 2006-2007.
People only talk about Juventus when discussing calciopoli. However, no AC Milan fan (at least one without his head stuck up his ass) can discuss the topic with his head held high. Milan just had better lawyers

LOL at Milan fans saying anything about getting demoted or Serie B. True hypocrisy, especially when considering Milan was also involved in Calciopoli and didnt get relegated just cause Berlusconi.

i put aside the fact you have called me a jackass and a worthless troll , i really don't take you seriously and i just want to quote this :
I don't care what happened and I don't wanna know since I don't care its not my club
then stop talking about Milan and searching in wiki just to post a 2nd time , it's pretty simple ! As for the Totonero , Arquitecto told you about it , pwned you and still you don't have any intention to admit that's nowhere the same as Calciopoli .
Juventus fans these days , i really miss Giu. You throw a single B in a discussion and they paint their faces with war colours
It's not a coincedence neither me or Arquitecto ever took that seriously and all of the Juventus fans did . again too soon as it seems

Because the quality of his teams have decreased significantly (whereas in the case of Xavi the opposite is true) - Also he's 32 now and not in as good of shape as he used to be
dnmac4 wrote:When Spain won the World Cup everyone knew it was Xavi's team and he was the best player on the team, when Italy won it they gave the Balon D'or to Cannavaro ffs, there defense carried that team not Pirlo.
Yeah Pirlo didn't win the ballon do'or....But then again neither did Xavi (Nor did he win the golden ball, silver ball, or bronze ball) - Pirlo won the bronze ball, to be fair
Also why is it that the "defense carried Italy" but not Spain? Both let up the same number of goals, and Italy scored 4 more than Spain? Pirlo assisted the two most vital goals for Italy in the tourney - Grosso v. Germany and Matrix vs France..
