So posted below are the highlights or both matches we played against them in group stages.

2-3 Game

Zambrotta was a huge weak link in that game which lead to the first goal.
Xavi's penalty was a dive IMO.

However, we were outplayed that game, just gotta learn from it.

Here is 2-2 game

I think we outplayed them this game, could have gone 2-0 easily Pato was giving them a lot of trouble.

Their second goal was created from a Busquests dive what else is new.
Messi is just a beast, they gotta keep his as quiet as possible.

Re watching the game, i think we can do it. A few tactical changes, and watch some of the games Barca has lost in La Liga and we should be good.

We are also going in on good form. Lets hope we get all our injured players back and don't sustain any.

Forza Milan!

No Villa and Abidal will make them weaker than they were before....Pique has also dropped form

Ibra will be able to play both games, last time he missed the nou trip.Robinho is finally back on form which makes us stronger in attack than last time(s}.Abate is out for a month which is a huge blow and i still dont trust Mexes, would much rather play Nesilva but i dont think Max will do that.Antonini will be available and he is actually a decent defender nowadays.

I have absolutely no idea what Pep will do 3-4-3,4-3-3...i also have little idea how he will replace Abidal.

we will probably play like this for the first leg

Bonera-Mexes-Silva-Antonini---
--Aquilani-Ambrosini-Nocerino
------------Boateng----------------
---Binho----------------Ibra-------

last but not least, lets hope refcelona doesnt feck us up again

How come no Nocerino?

man, thats a really weak line up. Ambrosini can't keep up, I hope they drop him for someone else. Bonera is also very slow.

Aqualani usually tends to move very slowly with ball as well.

Maybe Mesbah on left and Antonini on right.

So who is injured, Abate and Nesta?

What about Seedorf and Pato?

I know its just one match but we really cant risk mesbah on this one.

We are 2 weeks away from the game,by then we will have seedorf and pato back for sure since their injuries werent very serious.if abate is back he will only be back for the second leg. idk about nesta.I dont even know if Max considers him as a starter

Assuming nesta is fit, I'd like us to line up with:

-------Abbiati----------
Mexes--Nesta--Silva--Antonini
---Aqua----Nocerino----Emmanuelson
--------Boateng--------
---Robinho----Ibra

The midfield needs to be energetic and ambrosini is a disaster waiting to happen these days. However, I'm somewhat skeptical of Nocerino in the CDM spot but he'd be better than Ambro at least. Emmanuelson would add some much needed energy and he isn't terrible defensively. Mexes at right back would also never happen.

Allegri's formation (taking present injuries into account)

---------Abbiati-----------
Bonera--Mexes---Silva---Antonini
--Aqua---Ambro---Nocerino
----------Boa--------
-Robinho------Ibra-----

Bonera will get raped on the right. Ambro won't be able to keep up. Mexes will hold his own but our best CB pairing is without a doubt Nesta and Silva. MVB's suspension is a huge blow.

Seedorf, Merkel, and Pato for subs.

Keys to success against Barca:
1) We must be incredibly compact and organized defensively. Any slip ups will be punished.
2) While being organized, we must also press hard. Sitting back without putting any pressure on their midfielders will result in Xavi and co ripping our defensive line apart.
3) Hit them on the counter. Their defense is slow and will most likely play high up the pitch. Between Ibra, Robinho, Boa, and Emmanuelson, our counter-attacking has been great this year. It could prove deadly against the likes of Pique, Busquets, and Mascherano.

All in all, we're clear underdogs. That doesn't mean that we don't stand a chance though. We've been underdogs before and have surprised ppl. This is a great opportunity to prove our worth.

we need injured players back. a bit worried about abate. but im glad aquilani is back, but importantly we need boateng. infact we need most first team players back.

well like viepr149 said, on one leg we can beat anyone but in 2 legs match its a difficult game.

barca game will be tough, but milan needs to believe and put a positive, determined game.

aquilani and boateng are by far our most important midfielders imo,its surprising how we managed to go through arsenal without decent substitutes.

:lol!:
Losing Abate is a HUGE blow, we can not afford to make ANY mistakes. Hitting them on the counter will be our key, with Prince and Aqua back, our midfield looks good. The loss of MvB for the first leg also hurts too Sad
