Juve boss on Milan, refs and Viola
After days of silence, Juventus returned to speaking ways on Friday as boss Antonio Conte talked on the eve of the Fiorentina game.
The Old Lady had imposed a silenzio stampa following the 0-0 draw at Genoa as a protest to the number of refereeing decisions which they claim have gone against them this season.
And Conte, who was banned from the touchline last weekend, thinks more people should refrain from making statements.
“A few days ago I read an interview in which Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri said that we must all keep quiet,” he stated.
“All of us here did just that, but he’s the one who just keeps on talking.
“Seeing as Allegri keeps talking about Juve, we’ll authorise him to do that without the need for him to ask permission from our director general Beppe Marotta...”
Another talking point going into the Viola clash is the decision to appoint Mauro Bergonzi as referee, the man who was fourth official when Conte was sent-off in Bologna-Juventus.
“He’s a good ref, but it is inevitable that this decision is unique. I don’t know if this was the best move, we’ll have to wait until the end of the game.
“We won’t be commenting on the performance of the referee though.”
Turning to his team selections, the Coach confirmed that Leonardo Bonucci and Arturo Vidal would be named in the squad despite an alleged incident at a nightclub last weekend.
However, it is unclear whether Giorgio Chiellini will be risked after he was struck down by a calf problem.
“I still want to evaluate his condition over today and tomorrow,” the tactician noted. “I’ll obviously speak with him a lot, also because the championship won’t end tomorrow.”
Juve’s other problems are in attack where the club’s strikers have contributed just 16 League goals this term.
“We have a lot of central strikers. In a 4-3-3, if we are without Mirko Vucinic and Simone Pepe, then things get difficult. The others don’t adapt too well to the wings.
“It is inevitable that whichever centre-forward I chose, I will be asked why another didn’t play if he doesn’t score…”

Conte Conte Conte !!!! what a beast
Facing the Old Lady tomorrow with be enigmatic striker Amauri, the Brazilian who has a point to prove after leaving Turin in January.
“He knows perfectly well how things went, I know what I said and what I did. Amauri knows that I can look him in the eye.
“It’s the game of the season for Fiorentina tomorrow and that should please us.”
Juve will begin the Florence clash after Milan’s game at Parma has already come to an end. The Rossoneri are currently four points clear of the Bianconeri.

Uneducated
OT: Pressure obviously seems to be getting to Conte when he hits out at managers while going completely out of context.
Allegri doesn't "take" permission from the directors as evidenced by his candid quotes last and this season.
I respect Conte, but he needs to tone it down a little rather than criticizing everything and everyone around him.

Can you blame him? Juve have been *bleep* in the arse so many times this season. Makes it all more frustrating when you see someone with the passion such as Conte and all his hardwork being undone by decisions always going against us.
And before you start, yes I know there's still 90 mins for a team to score and there's no one else to blame for all these draws Yada Yada but it's still backed up by facts that Juve have had the most calls gone against them. Penalties not given, goals being disallowed, incorrect offside calls ect.
Not blaming anyone but it has hindered us as well as our poor finishing.
Hard to win when your strikers are awful but when they do score the goal is incorrectly disallowed.
Can't find or post the link to the page about the calls against Juve ect cause I'm on my phone.
