We go with the most experienced one chemistry wise, we will dominate them and we will score few.

Callejon nearing fitness and Higgy training with the team.... that makes it..... none on the injury table right???
would be the best line up imho, altho id prefer Granero over Khedira but oh well

Arbeloa-Pepe-Ramos-Marcelo
Khedira-Alonso
DiMaria-Ozil-Ronaldo

Sahin over Khedira.
I think he's a good defender.
I'm not sure about dropping Khedira, but if you are, then it definitely has to be for Sahin and not Granero.

going by the Apoel game, Sahin is very slow and doesn't really defend better than our other Mids(i know they didnt manage shots on target)
i mean at least Khedira/Granero makes themselves available for passes
id rather Sahin starts playing regularly after the pre season where he will be in a better condition than he is in now

Re: Semi Final - Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich discussion
I'd play:
------------Iker
arbeloa--Pepe--Ramos--Marcelo
----------------lass
-------khedira------Alonso
Ozil-------Higuain----------CR
And yes i'd play Higuain ahead of Benz.
Boeteng is not the strongest of CB's(converted anyways) and Badstuber is slow.
Pipita's runs are much better then benzema's on the day i'd fancy him when up against those 2.
Kroos is not crap and in no way is gustavo better than him. Kroos is Muller with skill but less work ethic.

Sahin doesn't make himself available for passes? ROFL.
Sahin looked fine physically, albeit against lesser compettion.
Sahin had 6 interceptions 3 tackles and 1 clearance against APOEL mate.
And it's no just that, look at the vids of him, he can definitely tackle and he reads the game well.

Guys!!! Don't you think it'll be disadvantage playing Bayern @ home in 2nd Leg.? My point is that in 1st Leg @ Allianz considering our previous performance, chances are less for grinding out a favorable result. Bayern are Likely to win the 1st leg, lets admit that. If we are going to 2nd leg with an away goal but with defeat, we'll attack Bayern from the word 'GO' this means more goal scoring chances for Bayern on Counter. Your views on this??

welcome to the forum mate.
i think we are better off playing away first. grinding out a result (a tie would be okay) then closing the second leg at home

Re: Semi Final - Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich discussion
Thanks Vandeez.
I'm saying its good to play away against teams like chelsea, ac milan but not Bayern.
You didnt get my point. Bayern's defensive record is impressive at Allianz Area.Even if we get away goal, but we lose. We'll be trailing at Bernabu, which is not a good against a side like Bayern. Becuase we'll go for an all attack, they have chance to hit us in Counter. This season we have been conceding goals at Bernabu. Remember what happened to Man U against Bayern 2 years back. Bayern won at Allianze arena (2-1), Man U went all their guns blazing at Old Trafford. Result was 3-2. even though second goal was masterpiece from Robben.

Re: Semi Final - Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich discussion
though bayern is very good on the counter i think we are equally as good. both teams are very dangerous.
in a lot of ways both bayern and madrid are the 2 most similar teams in europe. bayern may be a shade better, but i have faith in our players and hopefully our tactics to get at least a draw away, and a win at home.

i think it will be close, if we draw or get something out of the Allianz, then I will be confident
its games like this where Mourinho really steps it up

Our away record is the best in Europe thou. In La Liga we have 12 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. We actually concede less goals away than home. With 10 goals in 15 away games. We also score 2.5 goals per game in average away from home.
Our away record is actually better than Bayerns home record. While our Home record is better aswell. The big difference thou is Bayerns away record which is catastrophic.
I'm not that worried about going to Allianz arena, in the case with Barca for example we've actually played better at Nou Camp than at home. Bayern should be very worried about going to the Bernabeu.

Re: Semi Final - Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich discussion
I think Madrid should play with a 4-4-2
-------------Casillas
Arbeloa---Ramos---Pepe---Coentrao
Ozil----Granero/Sahin/Khedira----Xabi----Marcelo (if Di Maria isn't match fit)
----------Benzema-------Ronaldo.
Mou can pin Ronaldo on the wing. Ronaldo and Marcelo (who would have license to attack at will) could pin back Robben and Lahm (if he plays RB). This will make Bastian drift towards the wing, and as a consequence there will be space for Ozil to move diagonally to the center where the aforementioned can link up with Benzema. Just some ideas lol.

I dislike the Bernabeu, it's far too fickle. I can't think of another remotely large team in Europe who have a fanbase that won't hesitate to boo anyone on their team who's playing below par.
