Who is the traitor in the Arsenal camp?

There is a traitor in Arsene Wenger’s team at the Emirates and he is saying very bad things about the Arsenal manager. There is a journalist from the Telegraph called Matt Scott who reports in the UK paper that he has been talking to a so-called “insider” in the Arsenal camp, who is trying to suggest that Wenger is thinking about leaving and, worse than that, the Arsenal bosses want him to leave!

“When he arrived the transfer market was unsophisticated and now everyone is looking at the players you’re looking at,”

“There’s no advantage in being the first to see that French left-back because everyone’s out there doing it and players very quickly start to reach their true value in transfer and wage terms.”

“We’re at the start of a long rebuilding process and there’s been seven years without a trophy,”

“It’s everyone’s guilty secret that they think Arsène might be the wrong man for the job but no one will say it.”

Now I can believe that there were many dissenters against Wenger at the beginning of the season, or during the abysmal run in January, but since then he has done wonders for Arsenal, as he has done for the last 16 years.

This traitor must be found, and named and shamed before he spreads further malicious rumours….

Just a question here and it is neither against wenger or the board. Just a question.

From a marketing and merchandise perspective. How much money does everyone think that we could have been making if we had won a title or two and actually were competing for honors every year over the last 7 years? Instead of competing for top 4 and CL knockout stage.

The extra prize money would help, but commercially it wouldn't have made too much a difference because we're locked into these deals. Long term it would have, but short term there would not have been a noticeable difference.

It would have attracted better talent but knowing Wenger he'd still go after the youngsters.

The key point is that it would have instilled a winning mentality into the squad, and most of them wouldn't want to leave and we'd maybe still have Sex. Mechandise wise, winning trophies helps a lot. Would have been decent short term, but very good long term.

The report makes no sence after you see how the team has been playing these past few games. That never-say-die attitude is something that made me hard.

Of course from a playing side there'd be considerably more benefits, but from a financial perspective the difference between 4th and 1st isn't that large. And you'd be offsetting a lot of that extra cash you earn with the higher wages and transfer fees for the players.

A similar incident occured in Indian Premier League (cricket) when one of the most celebrated teams were underperforming.. A blog appeared revealing team discussions, fights within the team between coach and captain, gossips about other teams, etc.. The author claiming he was a player in the team.. And team was trying to find who was it.. He gained thousands of followers due to his funny style of writing.. He said that he will reveal himself after the tournament got over.. And it was a faker..
