Juve to use Vidal in defence

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is expected to use midfielder Arturo Vidal in defence against Genoa on Sunday.

The tactician is facing a crisis at the back given that he will be without three central stoppers for the Marassi encounter.

Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini are injured, while Leonardo Bonucci will be suspended after his dismissal in the 1-1 draw at Bologna on Wednesday.

With Martin Caceres being the only other central defender available in the first team squad, Conte is set to ask Vidal to take a step back.

The Chilean, signed in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, has been used as an emergency centre-back before by his national side.
