Two minutes length, all goals from the Spuds demolition ^
Just noticed Song's assist was brilliant.

goal.comTottenham are still a better team than Arsenal, boasting exceptional talents in the likes of Bale, Modric and Rafael Van der Vaart. That has been born out in results so far this season, but they run the risk of letting it all fall apart.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Chief executive Ivan Gazidis urges Arsenal fans to back Wenger after reporting £49.5m profits
Gazidis has now urged supporters to continue following the team and helping them to seal a top four finish in the Premier League.
"We hear the noise, we understand the concern of the fans, we know there are issuses, we know we're not where we want to be," Gazidis told Arsenal Player.
"But I can tell you that this team, our manager, the players, are absolutely united in what we have to do for the rest of the season, which is to finish in the top four. It's very much in our hands.
"We have had absolutely unbelievable support from our travelling fans. Away to Sunderland, away to Milan, our supporters have put aside the questions, put aside the doubts, put aside the differences of opinion and got behind the team.
"If that can happen from now until the end of the season, I know that we can achieve Champions League qualification again for next year, that we can rebuild and regroup in the summer and come back strong next year.
"That will come through 'victory through harmony'. The strength of this club has always been its unity and our fans and the palyers need to come together in this fight for the rest of the season."

100,000? Well you can basically kiss him goodbye. Yes there's a 4 million signing on fee which over four years would essentially be 120,000 per week in total.

I don't see why we can't offer Van Persie £150,000 p/w.
Even if we can't move the deadwood, we've already saved some money on not having to pay Arshavin £60,000 p/w...

I think RvP would automatically get his wage packet if we clear out our pay structure and the freeloaders on it.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Every time anyone who isn’t an Arsenal fan mentions Robin van Persie they bring up two things:
1 – What an excellent player he is, scoring all those goals and what have you.
2 – How he’s certain to leave Arsenal in the summer because he’s an excellent player, scoring all those goals and what have you.
Last week the skipper reiterated his stance on his new contract. All along he’s said he’ll discuss it with the club in the summer, but despite telling us what we already knew, many journalists and news organisations used this as an excuse to bring up point 2. Again. Ad infinitum.
However, Robin has hinted that his preference would be to stay with a club he clearly has real affection for. Of course we have to accept the fact that lack of Champions League football next season might well influence his decision, but it’s not as cut and dried as everyone seems to think.
Speaking to the Dutch press about Arsenal, Robin said, “I have been there for eight years and I’m proud. At the end of the season I will it down with the trainer and the president. Then we make a cup of coffee all together.
“I am a true Gunner. I love this club and that’s no secret. We will soon talk about many things. I do quite often with the trainer anyway. Only later on is the president there.”
Let us hope that this is a cup of coffee of love, of commitment, of hope, of ambition and, most importantly, a cup of coffee so large that it takes him 4 years to drink it.
For now, let’s focus on winning games, Robin’s contract and coffee can wait until summer, and maybe a few people will be eating their words like Amaretto.
Not quite sure who the trainer and the president would be...

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal have confirmed that Arsene Wenger’s squad will play Manchester City in Beijing’s iconic Bird’s Nest stadium on the Chinese leg of a globetrotting pre-season tour.
Having toured the Far East last summer, in a move which is understood to have been very successful on a commercial level, Ivan Gazidis and his team have been very pro-active in arranging a follow-up visit to the region.
The game will take place on July 27th, three weeks after the final of Euro 2012 and on the same day as the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games. The Premier League is not expected to start until August 18th affording Pat Rice plenty of time to organise a few shuttle-runs in the Alps.
Speaking to the Arsenal website Gazidis confirmed the exciting details:
“Further to our hugely successful visit to Hangzhou in 2011, everyone at Arsenal is extremely excited to once again be visiting China this year.
“We enjoy huge support in Asia and by playing a match in Beijing, we will once again be bringing the Club close to our loyal fans in China. The players and staff had an amazing time in China last year and we are all looking forward to visiting this great country again in July.
“The match against Manchester City is sure to be an exciting spectacle, with many great players from both sides playing in front of thousands of supporters in the wonderful ‘Bird’s Nest’ Stadium. It is also fitting that two English clubs are playing each other on the opening day of the London 2012 Olympics, in the stadium which hosted the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.”
Further friendlies are expected to take place in both Hong Kong and Nigeria as Arsenal look to make up the revenue lost from having to cancel the Emirates Cup weekend due to police shortages around the capital during the Olympics.
