Giovinco-Matri to face USA

Italy will start against USA tomorrow with Sebastian Giovinco, Alessandro Matri and Angelo Ogbonna.

Coach Cesare Prandelli confirmed his starting XI for the Wednesday evening international friendly at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa.

Giovinco partners Matri in attack with what looks to be a 4-3-1-2 system, as Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio and Antonio Nocerino fill out the midfield.

Ex-Inter star Thiago Motta, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in January, takes the trequartista role.

The defence has Torino youngster Ogbonna partnering Andrea Barzagli, with Domenico Criscito and Christian Maggio as full-backs.
