----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scott Carson ?
Frazer Campbell ?
Cleverly ? (he has played 60 minutes of football in the last 4 months)

yet likes of Carrick who's been very good this season, get nothing
Hope Netherlands thumps them 4-0. Hate the prick.

You honestly don't expect Roonay to be "fit" for this game, do you?

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
I dont have a problem with Cleverly because he will part of the future of England.
But Downing, Campbell, Carson have no future at all
If you are going to pick complete no ones how about Sinclair and Graham?
Mind you atleast we did'nt do anything as bad as what France did and call up Saha

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
ahahahah
is there like a competition for the worst possible international squad i wasn't aware of?
carson - walker, jones, cahill, cole - walcott, parker, barry, downing - campbell, sturridge
would get relegated in any major league

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
On the bright side, it's good to see someone other than Downing's mother having faith in Downing's football ability. On the not so bright side, that someone is the England manager.
Good luck against the Dutch...

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
On the bright side the idiot known as Pearce will only be in charge for one game
What i want in the future.......
* Because i cant think of anyone other than Cole and he's past it.
Will never happen tho, because the FA wont hire someone with such advanced tactical insight

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
That Fraizer Campbell call up genuinely baffles me. No where near good enough and has played five games all season. Meanwhile, someone like Danny Graham doesn't get a call up at all.

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
I dont know what has players like walcott done to deserve such a long stay in National team.Lack of competition may be lol.

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
If we are going for strange callups, where is Holt?
He is better than Campbell aint he? And at least he provides something remotely different...what does Campbell do that Bent cannot?

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
Also Rob Green
There is so much wrong with this squad i dont know where to begin.......
I personally would'nt have called up Carson, Green, Cahill, Downing, Bent or Campbell, Gerrard or Walcott etc etc.
But Pearce is another yes man who has to follow the leader

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
Walcott? He is average and has been terrible for some times now.Only thing he has to back him up is his age but being young doesnt warrant a call up for a NT.RealGunner wrote:Adit wrote:I dont know what has players like walcott done to deserve such a long stay in National team.Lack of competition may be lol.

Goalkeepers: David Stockdale (Fulham), Joe Hart (Manchester City), John Ruddy (Norwich).
Defenders: Joleon Lescott (Manchester City), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur).
Midfielders: Micheal Carrick (Manchester Utd), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Scott Sinclair (Swansea), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Nathan Dyer (Swansea).
Forwards: Darren Bent (Aston Villa), Danny Graham (Swansea), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Danny Welbeck (Manchester United).
What i would have done, based on form and availablity. I have kept some that are in meh form due to not having other choices or atleast IMO.

Re: Stuart Pearce' England Squad
I can shed some light on why Chamberlain didn't get a call-up; England U21 have a competitive fixture against Belgium, so they need him more at this moment in time.
I feel it's the right move, too, since we don't want to be putting more pressure on this kid than is necessary. Netherlands game would be a bit too soon for him, I reckon.

His play doesnt impress me nor does Arsenal fans.I can already see arsenal fans calling for walcotts head,he is dat awsome.Lex wrote:Again, watch some more Premier LeagueAdit wrote:Walcott? He is average and has been terrible for some times now.
If this is the standard you expect from him then fine, but that is not even europa league standard i must say.
