That Chelsea goal is one of my very best moments as a fan of this club, it was just magic. I dont even I went that crazy even during the Rivaldo hattrick and bicycle kick.

To this day, watching that video gets the adrenaline going big time.

And the boy really is a saiyan or something, how he comes back strong after injury so consistently is shocking.

Yes, but he also gets injured too often. Even if sometimes they are small injuries. Its unfortunate we often go important periods without him.

And yeah. That moment... nothing compares really. Other than being at the 5-0, which was amazing, but I remember the feeling when that goal went in. I just have to say, I hope I get that feeling again watching football.

Have to agree. That Chelsea goal is probably my favourite footballing moment. Never felt that exciting before and after watching the game.
For me, it wouldn’t even matter if we lost the final after that.

Andres in my 3rd favourite Barca player following Xavi and Puyol

How highly do you rate Iniesta's dribbling?

I was thinking, if you take away Messi's speed and acceleration, is Iniesta just as good? I think the only things he really lacks on Messi is that explosive quality and eye for goal. In terms of pure dribbling and ball control... I'm hard pressed to find another player who compares.

His ball control is on par with xavi and his dribbling on par with messi.
What messi has that makes him inhuman is that rapid direction change while sprinting which I haven’t seen on another player yet

In tight spaces, he might just be a little better than Messi.

Iniesta is great at dribbling, but not as great as Messi, who I actually rate better than anybody, ever.

If you take away acceleration, Messi is faster and has lower center of gravity, and is better at riding tackles, so he's much harder to bring down. Not only that, I think Messi has better vision, better anticipation of surroundings and better reflexes. And his touch and technique is second to none.

Iniesta has great technical dribbling, but dribbling is second nature for Messi.

My second favorite player in the team. he never gets deserved credit. i think its because he doesnt have that arrogant attitude

at dribbling messi and iniesta is different. iniesta is more like good man's zidane, messi is like faster maradona. yeah iniesta is better dribbler than zidane, he can get past 2-3 players unlike zidane. messi's acceleration and direction changes makes him better dribbler than iniesta. otherwise i dont see any difference. he is the second best dribbler in the world so its obvious their dribbling quality will be close

why he is not scoring because he is not fast enough. but he can score goals like zidane did. if there was not messi he would get as much credit as zidane and would win ballon dor. zidane was just lucky that he didnt play alongside with this messi

Couldnt you kept the comparisons to Zidane on the other tread? You know, the one titled "is Iniesta as good as Zidane".

You can make any thread you like, but you cannot come onto this thread and compare Iniesta and Zidane when just below it, there is a thread exactly for that reason.

Stop arguing with me and wasting time.

So great to have the Don back.Simply unplayable against Valencia.
Its so frustrating that he misses 2 to 3 months every season due to injury.
On form just a joy to watch and he brings us that penetration and link up from midfield.
Almost Messi like in his ability to get out of impossible situations with his dribbling.Just an absolute joy to watch.

Iniesta is 2nd on the list of most game in the row in La Liga without defeat - he surpassed Chendo (ex - Real Madrid). Iniesta has 48 games, Chendo had 47. First is Butragueno - 50 games without defeat in LL in the row.

MOM tonight, second game in the midfield in the row - Valencia, now Sporting = MOM. Iniesta on the wing vs Atleti - mediocre performance. Keep Don in the midfield Pep Smile
