Disregard players, acquire Favre
(Seriously they're going to get some monies, good signings plus Favre = good results and growth)

The Reus-money alone will buy them like three youngsters. Plus they've proven over the past couple of seasons that their acadamy knows it's shit.

Rich man's Pep, did it with a squad that's wouldn't even buy you Cesc if you sold them all.

Hannke was a player people actually laughed at last year. Now he's playing False 9 like he's frakin' Messi.

Rangnick will be available again in summer 2012. Maybe Bayern should consider Rangnick? Or try to get Favre and then BMG can sign Rangnick?

He was considered a potential heir to Klose together with Schlaudraff after 2006 though, I remember that much. I just forgot what made him misfire for like 3 seasons.
And considering Bayern, RWO, I think Heynckes is actually not a bad choice. But if they want to spin the wheel again, why not Rangnick or Favre? Or Kloppo or Tuchel? I'd try to get ze Hitzfeld.
Then again if I were making decisions I'd un-retire the Kaiser.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
Well, Kloppo seems to be glued to Dortmund, at least till 2016. Somehow I doubt he can be easily pried away from them. Tuchel might be easier.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
There's just no reason for Kloppo to switch clubs as well, I just thought their squad over.
Dortmund will be insane next season. Well, they'll be very good, and quite deep. What would make them insane would be a great striker. You know, some poor man's RVP, or hell, maybe even a poor man's Gomez, after all they could probably feed a pure poacher as well. But they'd fare best with a striker that's more used to playing SS than CF I reckon.
Someone who can hold up the ball.
Just imagine how they'll line up, with an attacking midfield trio of Kagawa, Reus and Götze - behind them the vacuum, Bender, and Kehl (well theoretically, of course Kehl will be injured, so Gündogan or Leitner or whoever). Their defence is pretty much good enough for anything, they even are one of the few clubs to have two decent fullbacks.
And let's imagine Dortmund with a proper striker up front, like so:
----------------- Podolski/Schürrle/Klose, whatever, a striker that knows how to hold up play
Reus ------------------ Kagawa ------------------ Götze
------------------- Kehl ------------ Bender
Schmelzer ---- Subotic ----------- Hummels ----- Pisceck
---------------------- Weidenfeller/Langerak
They'll tear Bayern a new one - again.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
Well, I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing Dortmund in the CL again next season. I doubt they will get kicked out like this season again.
As for BMG - fortunately Arango and ter Stegen extended their contracts. With the money for Reus and the CL money that they will very likely get, they will have the opportunity to buy some interesting youngsters - and I see them as being as clever as Dortmund and prefer good scouting to overpriced hyped players.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
Bundesliga is quality, 4 CL spots now and so many great teams. Only thing left is to prove it in the CL next year seen as dortmund failed this year.
Haters watch out. I'll jump on the bandwagon too before its too late!

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
Well, next year I have great hopes in Bayern, Schalke and Dortmund to get out of the groups at least. BMG will be the question mark, depending on how they will cope with the loss of some key players.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
And also whether they'll stick it out on the UCL spot until the end of the season, there's still a couple matches left to be played. I just hope Hannover makes the Europa League again.

Re: Official BMG Bandwagon Thread
My hope for the first 6 places is 1. BMG, 2. Dortmund, 3. Schalke, 4. Bayern (because they will likely survive anything thrown at them in the qualification), 5. Hannover and 6. Werder (I'd love to give them another chance at Europe again).

Werder Bremen
I want someone to just give Schaaf 100 milion to buy a decent bench. And two or three starters. I miss Werder just outscoring everything.
