But perhaps Abidal, haha, is doing some great work. 70% of the attacks go to his side and he stops quite allot.

Excellent defending from Abidal. Can't take my eyes off this match.

Valencia should be lucky they did not get 2-3 more goals. Actually they should thank Alves

Montoya and Busquets fault for the goal, nothing to do with Pique.

Busquets gave the ball away in his own half, then Montoya ball watching and lets Piatti in.

Pique was there, but its not his job to watch Piatti (a leftwinger) come off the touchline and get in behind. All Montoya.

He didnt even seem to communicate with Pique who had his back turned.

Anyway great performance all around, clearly betterall around play from everyone, especially Messi who looked sharp from minute 1. Shame Pedro still sucking.

One more thing i noticed about Messi tonight, he was tracking back more, like he used to do

Great game. MOTM Alves, great goalkeeping. Could have been at least 10-1 with Messi leaving Ronaldo behind him.

A pleasant surprise, but then again how much of a surprise is it?

More rest and surely now we are starting to peak as our training decreases in intensity.

Atletico next week, who all of a sudden are a defensive force..it will be a great test.

Anyway, great performance and really loved how we kept trying to score goals untill the very end. Have not seen that in a while.

Alexis' dribbling was amazing this game, more so in the first half but tonight it seemed he was out to beat defenders.
