Re: La Liga (Week 23): FC Barcelona Vs Valencia
I would like to see this lineup:
Valdes
Puyol Pique Abidal Adriano
Thiago Busquets Iniesta
Alexis Messi Pedro
Tello, Cesc and Montoya in 2nd half.
Give Xavi more rest.. don't risk him... [ although according to Guardiola he trained normally with the squad on saturday, decision will be made just before the match].
=========================
Interesting comment by Guardiola in press-conference on Saturday:
Guardiola: "B-players tomorrow? Montoya is very intense and strong. Bartra is great in the air, fast. Muniesa is best-prepared tactically."

Re: La Liga (Week 23): FC Barcelona Vs Valencia
I like Khaled's team, perfect for me. Only question is Pedro or Tello, though it seems despite Tello's good play Pep is not going with his hot hand for whatever reason.
I think Cesc will play, I wont get my hopes up thinking he wont.
Is Keita back in the squad? He might start, im sure Pep has been missing him lol

i though about Tello honestly, i want him to start.. but since Pedro is back, Cesc, Cuenca etc.. i don't think Tello has a realistic chance to start..
Especially that Xavi is doubtful, i also think Guardiola might start Cesc, especially that he scored 2 goals Vs Valencia this season.

Yeah, I dont think so either. Which is a shame, I think he has done more than enough for more chances.
Not saying he should be promoyed, Barca B need him. But he was playing well and it would be nice to see if he can continue that.

Re: La Liga (Week 23): FC Barcelona Vs Valencia
I GET TO WATCH IT ON A GOOD STREAM!!!
F yeah!
Looking forward to domination, Sanchez to score haha, I actually would rather have him have several successful dribbles, but whatever, let's see what the game brings.
I'd like to see Pedro start. He needs goals, he has the quality to get them.
Whatever happens, should be good football. Nothing I love more than good football.

Re: La Liga (Week 23): FC Barcelona Vs Valencia
I think we should line up with:
VV
Montoya Puyol Pique Abidal
Thiago Busquets Iniesta
Alexis Messi Cuenca
Even if Adriano is fit (which I don't think so, he was injured on tuesday), no point in calling up 3 Barça B players and not play any of them... Tello and Cesc coming in the second half.
What I think we will see:
VV
Montoya Puyol Pique Abidal
Cesc Busquets/Thiago Keita
Alexis Messi Pedro

True i forgot that Adriano is injured !!!
Alves and Mascherano are suspended..
So Montoya will most probably play? or we can play 3-4-3 which is not a gd idea against Valencia!

Re: La Liga (Week 23): FC Barcelona Vs Valencia
Banega had the most bizarre injury I've ever heard of. A fracture caused by his own car rolling over his foot.
Shouldn't laugh, but it is a tad funny.

Real shame, this injury. It was an honest mistake and Banega/Valencia are paying dearly for it. I just hope Banega comes back motivated and won't be effected too negatively by this injury.

Yeah, I think it'll be a good time to test out other CMs, I think Gago should be the main starter though.shinigami99 wrote:Albiceleste wrote:Real shame, this injury. I'm still trying to decide who got shown up for that goal. I think I'll go with Montoya but Pique let Piatti run past him.

Welcome back Messi. Great to see his performance today. A little to the background but what he does he does very well.
