Why can't we play like this in Serie A

Were our recent performances in serie A bait to make wenger think we were slow and cumbersome?...I seriously don't see why we cant play this way against other teams.

Because arsenal didn't park the bus.....every single time we countered their defense was wide open,typical from the donkey league.in serie a teams park the bus and have tight defenses.also,we had boateng today and robinho and ibra were on fire

Particularly in that game, Arsenal has been very sloppy and undisciplined in defending. You don't see that kind of defending day in day out in Serie A. Besides, in the league, we are the big team so many park the bus against us, while in CL, we are (perceived as) the underdogs, making the game more open. I think Arsenal took us lightly (perhaps from the media hype and that 2-0 drubbing years ago + bad records against EPL team) and was made to pay (very) dearly.

One striking example I saw was when Robinho/Antonini dribbled his way through the left flank, every single Arsenal player drifted to the left leaving Abate/whoever on the right plenty of spaces to exploit.

many reasons... we just got boateng back, and we got off to a great start, so that benefited for the rest of the game. also the pitch did help us, since it played a role in minimizing arsenals wing plays. and lastly arsenal defence was basically shit today, AND they were not parking the bus like previously mentioned. teams that attack us, barca, arsenal, we were always able to get out some good results/games.

We got our engine in the midfield in Boateng, he really energized the entire team. Ibra and Robinho were clicking together like never before and like other people said, Arsenal didn't park the bus. We are really dangerous when we have space, especially with Ibra playing the way he was, so it was easy to exploit those gaps.

Arsenal are not a Serie A team

Plus I think Milan just had everything going for them. From what I've read, just about all our players were on form and all of Arsenal's players were off form, what are the odds of that happening from Matchday 1 to Matchday 38 in Serie A

Let's be honest, Cesena have a better defense than Arsenal and a more effective counter attack. If we play like we play against Cesena like we play Arsenal we will lose 1-0 or draw.

The reason is very simple. Our players are suited to a counter-attacking system.
