Henry was a good move, he created a good chance and he kept the ball well.

But overall, Wenger got it horribly wrong and his lack of adjustments (not subs, but tactical adjustments) made things worse.

I love him, he is a great coach, but he is tactically inept and kinda has been for a little while now.

I'm not literally blaming Henry, that would be silly.

But things have gotten to this point under Wenger's watch who has been called out before. One more incident, defeats like this make you question what you are doing as a club, and this is not the first dramatic defeat of the season.

Old?

Made a mistake on focusing soley on the pace of his team instead of their passing abilty. Suprised how lackluster the Arsenal midfield was and why they did not pressure the Milan midfield. They were there to be got at and Arsenal didn't go for it.

Milan were very clinical today, but it was clear to me that Ibra is the key of the creativity of this team. However, great performance by Milan.

you need to wacth more EPL mate.. Wenger does this EVERYTIME..

No point in getting mad, won't make a difference. As soon as i saw the ploughed field, i knew we would suck being restricted solely to the middle. Koscielny going off injured was unavoidable, as was Mert being injured days before the game. Wenger's subs weren't perfect, but what the fuq was the man supposed to do? when i read the title of the thread I laughed, today was a joke and so was Wenger

what stupidness, at one point he had 4 CMs playing in a flat 4 in midfield no width against a team who play with little width

laughable

taking off Walcott the only player with pace at half time leaving us with no pace

laughable

bringing on Henry at HT in some pathetic hope that he'll score some kind of hattrick or whatever and leave in a fairy land dream ending

I watch Arsenal every week. Laughing

Wengers plans were too obvious and the team was very one-dimensional.
He had no plan B and thought that all he would need to get a result would be pace. Milan pressed well and allowed their midfield to give the ball to Ibra who conducted the game.

I feel for Wenger.....he just dosen't have the players at his disposal to be stoic and say I'm not going to make any adjustments.

When you try to make adjustments sometimes they are an utter failure....it's natural.....I still think if he had a squad on his hand where he could just simply be stoic and unfluctuating I think he's still the best manager in the world.

Tactically inept is not the word for me, tactically inflexible perhaps.

The past three years he has lost it in my opinion, he is still good for young players just tactically and with player management he has been poor.
I mean Cesc is gone and the formation was built around getting the best out of him and we still haven't changed it...
Nasri's contract running down, RVP's running down..
And we still play the 4321 formation that was built around Cesc yet we don't have a midfielder who can do have the stuff Cesc could..

It wasnt Rambo's fault, he was playing in an advanced position. Song and Arteta just couldnt get the ball to him enough because Milan outnumbered them. They protect the center too well.

Lex these are professional footballers who train virtually every day

the idea that they cant adapt to a poor pitch is laughable

i play on worse pitches every weekend and dont have trouble moving the ball about and controlling it properly

and thats me playing once a week and not training the pitch is no excuse

Milan play on this SAME pitch passed the ball about and plundered 4 goals
