Way too much.

Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Marin, McEachran, De Bruyne, Piazon, Ramires Mikel, Romeu, Lamps(and maybe even Chalobah). How the bloody fk does one fit those 12 players into a 5-man midfield and the bench? Quite clear some of those players will leave. My first call would be Marin.

And I wouldn't put it past these clueless suits to go out for more. All this talk of Paulinho and others?? confused

Get a clue. We have MORE than enough midfielders

I see Lampard moving to MLS in the summer, wish he would retire as a Chelsea but i can see his motivation.

Personally i think Moses is more likely to want out then Marin, we shall see who gets more frustrated by the end of season.

BTW McEachran will be back in January so he will get a shot before KDB.

Well, they've bankrolled the academy only to have a grand total of zero players get their chance (unless you count Bertrand, who isn't fully from our academy anyway) because they can't stop going on buying sprees every summer, and of course sacking managers left right and backwards, which I really do think has been one of the reasons no youngsters get a look-in.

McEachran and/or maybe even Chalobah getting into the first team in the coming years should be prioritized over buying in any new midfielders, and any business conducted in the near future should be done with an eye on achieving that goal, IMO.

Moses and Marin were really unnecessary.

It would be ok if Chelsea had a team like Arsenal but if you look at the records of Mata,Hazad,Oscar,Ramires and Mikel you will see that they rarely get injured, specially oschazmat

I don't think Moses was unnecessary. We need squad rotation. He's a traditional winger(not so much a playmaker like MAZACAR), gives that width and is good defensively as well. Marin on the other hand......poor man's Mata.

You wouldn't expect MAZACAR to play every single game in very competition we're involved in so having Moses & Piazon come in for two of the 3 at least is perfect.

I know that the trio wont play every single game together, but it would be just fine to have sturridge,KDB and josh rotating, not to mention Malouda and Piazon.Buying Marin and Moses was just extravagant imo

You also have to keep in mind that Ramires was a RW for RDM at the start of the season.

I think Marin will be snapped by some EPL club, pretty sure. Or he is going to be our next Kalou definitely.

Kevin

Harsh Marin ain't even played yet!

Think you need to split it somewhat I don't think Moses, Marin, Mata, Hazard, Piazon can be grouped with the rest.

I think Kevin looks like he will be groomed like Oscar to play deeper imo, that passing range is Afro

Something tells me Romeu's days are numbered in the long term run Sad.

Yeah I can see that.

The guy is just very very accurate in all of his distribution, he's actually great to watch play when he's in full flight and if he evolves into that deeper player I will be very happy.

Hazard - Oscar - Mata
Mikel/Romeu - De Bruyne

Drool.

He could easily get to the level Modric was and was a fraction of the price.

Passing? Exceptional long and short range
Dribbling? Very good, can get out of tight situations
Long shots? For days

He would literally be amazing there.

I don't see him as a pivot player, i see him similar to Oscar can play in the pivot but they have too much quality in front of the goal and in the final ball to play so deep.

I bet he can get the job done in the right tactics of course.

To me with 2 CDM's you really want one more of the ball winner/more defensive while the other is the player that keeps the team ticking over and the ball moving and getting it to the players up top. The reason I'd say De Bruyne is better suited to this is his range of passing. On either foot he fires balls around the field like it's nothing usually with pretty much pinpoint accuracy. Having that ability deeper would be awesome if we choose to counter or even change things up/switch up play.
