De Bruyne watch
So the transfer has been confirmed, just a place to discuss him, his progress and your thoughts on the transfer. Hopefully also we can watch how he goes for the remainder of the season.
The confirmation/announcement is on the Genk website: http://krcgenk.be/nl/nieuws/show/transfer-kevin-de-bruyne-naar-chelsea-afgerond/870

Malouda can't retire soon enough.
Hopefully he improves and can atep into that role next year, if not the one after that.

This guy is our future Lionel Messi no doubt! this guys talent is over the moon! what a talent we got in our hands , i think he deserves to be in the first team next season and also a starter!
Re: De Bruyne watch
I hope he is, then Mata can move to the middle.
However, I don't think it is very likely.

Wow, Bumping a dead thread.
I am for a reason, Kevin De Buryne has said he would rather not go through the Lukaku Situation and won't mind being loaned out next season if his chances are slim here.
Yes, this is the only decent piece of Non-Euro news I have found this week.

Re: De Bruyne watch
Shame i thought he was a winger, but actually he prefer and is better in the middle. Not only that he is more in the Lampard mold then Mata, and prefers to play deeper.

Re: De Bruyne watch
He can play both. He fits perfectly into the Mould of players we have been buying, Young, Belgium and Versatile. I imagine he can play LW/RW/AM or CM.
I personally think he should go on loan and play CM while on loan. So he can come in as a Lampard replacement.

Re: De Bruyne watch
His passing range is ridiculous, if he worked a little on his defensive game you never know could be a DLP, highly doubt it mind you but never say never

Re: De Bruyne watch
He probably could play DLP eventually, its not uncommon for Belguim midfielders. Witsel and Defour both started their career as CAM, both play CM and a much deeper role for their team.

Yes, I feel either he or Josh will be our future DLP, both of them need to learn to defend though. If they can do that, they will be fantastic.

I'm still trying to figure out a way I can root for Brendan himself to do well while, at the same time, hope Liverpool continues to fail miserably

No Idea, I do however, Wish him the best of luck. I would rather Pool be in the top 4 than Spuds.

Re: De Bruyne watch
Not for me my dislike for Liverpool is on a another level, cant stand them would much prefer Spurs better yet Newcastle.
I cant stand Liverpool fans delusional nonsense and their clinging of history. Any team that is shit would keep talking about their history.
I don't live in London/England so i can't really be bothered by Spurs with the exception of that *bleep* Levy. They are eternal pretenders anyway.
*bleep* Rodgers hope he fails. In fact i know he will fail.

*bleep* Rodgers, he is seriously overrated and will fail.
Yeah I dislike them heaps due to alot of people in my area supporting them. That said also dislike Spurs because of same sorta reasons.

Haha my friends are good guys but the fact that we have consistently lost to them past few seasons no matter what form they are in just gets frustrating and they like to dish it out when we lose
