De bruyne to replace Malouda in the Summer

Kind of expected this, De Bruyne to join and be loaned back to Genk, Malouda to leave in the summer and De Bruyne to replace him.

Interesting part is where he mentions Mata. He says the signing will allow Mata to have a free role.

Maybe this means we will not buy Willian and switch to the 4-2-3-1 next year.

Thoughts?

Malouda can pure FO, Kevin isn't quite ready yet IMO.

What about next year?

I'd stick him on loan @ like Everton or somewhere like that for a whole season/6months see how he does.

Willian or not Kevin for me is a long term project who is a while off from starting, it all depends on the squad we might need to play him out of pure necessity but I doubt that will be the case.

Shaqiri deal to Turkey fell through, would be nice if we hopped on that young stocky,pacey, creative got the whole lot.

Ohh and I read somewhere that Kevin prefers or is better at AM rather than the wings or such, cant quite remember where though

Yes, i would love to see him at Everton, they would take him too.

I would like us to get both, Willian as a starter and Kevin as backup AM and LW.

The only quote they have is confirming that talks are ongoing, nothing about him replacing Malouda.

He wouldn't sit on the bench all of next season, he'll do a Courtois and get loaned to a better side.

But with the money that is being quoted, I find this deal to be pointless especially when we're going to buy top class attacking midfielders in the future. We're already going to have a problem managing all the talent we have at disposal.

I wouldn't mind if it was for cheap but £8 million is a good amount. It's how much we paid for Courtois.
