Played quite well for his first game in a blue shirt. Nice assist and definetly lessens the blow of not having Mata. Had quite a few long shots which I think against teams defending very deep could be very useful.

Also did anybody see this? It was such a perfect pass, shame it didn't result in a goal.

Yeah the annoying thing is he thrives when Mata isn't playing because he's best through the middle. When our 3 AMs were rotating though it was beautiful to watch, I can't wait to watch us play more this season.

Yea we are, even he can't force those trio to not play quick passes and roam around freely. Might as well recall Malouda and Kalou back and play them instead if not.
