Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde

I know alot of you dislike Felipe Melo but no one can deny he had qualities that we need, such as pure destroyer instincts which no one else in our team has, not even Vidal. It seems silly that we still own a player who would have a nice rotation with Vidal and could fit into our midfield 3.

IMO he opens up so many new possibilities, now this is all speculation of how i think things could work out but i havent even considered his attitude yet.

Imagine when we come across a team like barca who also use possesion techniques, we are going to get slaughtered, i wont beat around the bush. its almost impossible to beat them at thier own game, so what we'd have to do is play a differnt game to what we have been playing all season, make sure we dont concede but stay on the counter. so what im getting at is, imagine a midfield 3 of Melo - Pirlo - Vidal? Pirlo would have 2 battlers aside of him to help out with the defending and Vidal + Melo to create room for pirlo to spray the ball around as he does. the guy is amazing, picking passes from 50 yards out and Vidal isnt exactly a slouch at passing.

Dont get me wrong, i dont expect this to happen and if it did i personally wouldnt want it to be our starting 11 week in week out but big teams need plans, plans that can change how the team works, how dynamic the team is ect and with Melo in the squad it would be rather easy to shake things up.

Now there is a downside, the Mr. Hyde in Melo could interupt this great team spirit we have, as he is infact, a loonatic, but on his day last season he was our best player throught some very tough matches and i have a very strong feeling Antonio 'The Beast' Conte could tame Melo and transform his aggression and passion into an explosive force on the pitch, conte loves hardwork and thats what melo has in abundance. Melo used to get on with the group quite well if i remember rightly also? vids of him and Pepe having a laugh.

his recent showings with Galatasaray also show he can be an estute asset in a team.

Anyway i think ill leave you guys to comment and give your idea's, please dont just brush him off, have a good think about how he can benefit our team because i for one do not want 25 million plus marchionni wasted.

Given the right coach (conte) i think he can fufill his price tag and can be one of Juve's main players.

Please... u clearly dont know that Conte will never ever play Melo for even 2 minutes cause Conte like me hates brazilians clearly not as a nation but as footballers.

Brazzers suck in serie A cause they are just not that serious and want to have fun all the time Conte never forgets how last year time and time again when Juve lost the 3 Brazilian aces left the pitch laughing.

Last year i think we only had 2 Brazilians, whatever but time showed it was TWO many. Anyway i never said he wont ever play a brazilian just that he generally dislike them.

On the same note i must admit that i kind of liked Diego he was a very atypical brazilian in soo many ways.

He had 2 years in juve and at the same time as sissoko,aquilani,poulsen, marchisio, gio, diego, candreva and camo.

in those 2 years he plpayed like crap. now we have pirlo and in a half of a year did so much better than him.

None of them players mentioned are like Melo, he is a pure DM, a destroyer which we dont have right now. IMO Vidal is the closest we have to Melo.

People are forgetting Melo had a great spell with us, his first season was horrible but after that he found his feet but we sent him to Turkey.

In a defensive aspect Melo > all our midfield.

If he sorted out his attitude abit he would be one of the most effective players we have. i see potential in him.

i think conte wouldn't play a melo-like player.

they maybe good, but they are physical and nothing more. as i think..conte likes intelligent player that won't waste a single pass...or get a single yellow card foolishly...not to mention a red one.

melo is a hot head. he maybe good, but he'll pull a pepe stamp or a lamela kick when you least need it..letting down the team.
football is a team sport, and every player is important to do his duty when they play for conte. melo is a risk.

I think the "Conte doesnt like Brazilian players" means that Conte doesnt like the "one man show" or flashy players... and Brazilians tends to play that type of football more often than other nations.

The least Conte could do is try to atleast reach and control Melo, otherwise we wasted 50 Million on him and Diego, id atleast try and salvage half of that money aka melo.

when you think about it properly, having Melo with this current team would open up loads of possibilities.

Ill be disappointed in Juve if nothing happens or if they dont atleast consider it.

I think its totally up to Conte. I have already cut my losses with Diego and Melo, no need to go back and try to fix the damage Secco did when we are already past it.

I think our best option would be to take him back from loan in the summer and sell him to a bigger club who will pay more due to his good season.

He is a fantastic CDM but he's openly said after his treatment at Juve he doesn't want to return and he's a crazy b*stard.

The way he lashes out at people makes me certain the only way it would end for him in a Barca - Juve game at the camp nou would be with a red card.

I think people give Secco too much stick,

he did what any transfer director would have done, maybe the price seemed outrageous but Melo and Diego were in the form of their lives before he purchased them...... them not performing is not his fault.

However when a man can buy a player like Borriello in his current state, now that is what I can call outrageous....... [thank God its not a full purchase though]
