Re: De Gea blunder thread
Corner came in and he didn't punch it away just stood there and Agger scored but tbf he was sort of blocked off..So maybe I'm being a bit harsh with this thread.
What was priceless though was fergie telling Lindegaard to warm up straight away.

Re: De Gea blunder thread
De Gea is so crap that you'd think he's doing this on purpose. Maybe he receives bonus checks in the mail from Man City for every blunder he makes.

De Gea: The ball decieved me.
He's a good keeper. Sure as hell doesn't want to act like one but I think eventually he'll get there. Or i hope. In the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy it.

Re: De Gea blunder thread
There were literally 10 players between him and the ball, superman couldn't have gotten to that ball. He was busy shoving Carroll out of the way which one of his teammates should have done for him. The Liverpool player had a free header 6 yards from the goal and was basically unmarked, how in the world is that De Gea's fault? No keeper saves that goal.
He did look shaky in goal today, there is no doubt about that but that goal was no way on him. You can't give a player a free header from 6 yards out.
This is what I was talking about in past threads where people are just ready to jump all over De Gea especially the announcers they killed him all game before he ever made a mistake. One time, I kid you not, the announcer said he didn't catch the ball confident enough and there was no one around, it was a simple catch and he caught it, what do they want him to do talk sh** to the closest player after a routine catch.
The worst part is not one person has blamed the player who left Agger unmarked from 6 freaking yards out. Apparently that's De Gea's fault as well.

This keeper whenever I see him I smell fear.... good thing MAn U are suffering! Fergie has deceived the fans by signing him
The Kuyt goal he really should have done better....this keeper is just not good enough for Man U from what I have seen... but Man U are well past it nowadays

Bit harsh, no?
The lad's confidence is in tatters atm.. It doesn't help also when SAF keeps rotating our keepers.
He'll come good, I still have faith in his abilities.

Re: De Gea blunder thread
Well, you should hope that SAF doesn't ruin de Gea like LVG did with Thomas Kraft, who was also completely messed up by unwise GK rotations.

Re: De Gea blunder thread
De Gea is normally a pretty solid keeper as one could see in Spain. IMO he has a problem with the pressure at ManUtd. Heck, the boy is just 21, that's a youngster still. I think he should be handled with care that he gets back his self-confidence.
