Maxi lopez Vs Andry Carrol

Out of patriotism I pick Maxi, though I think both are terrible.

Doesn't Maxi have a decent scoring record, has played for Barca and does fine considering the shitty team he's played in?

He is still clumsy slow and pretty horrible if you ask me.

But yeah, both have great hair.

Andy Carroll is only 23, so this is quite unfair in the sense that Carroll can easily have a better career than Maxi, though in general Lopez has done quite well over the past few years, where as Carroll only has six months which he could be really proud of. Given the personnel they would be working with, I might change my vote, though in an open ended question I'd choose Maxi. I'm not sure where Carroll will go as a player, depending on whether Liverpool give him time and faith or give up on him.
