Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
We don't even need him,I can't believe we are signing another striker instead of a midfielder.one of the few galliani decisions that pissed me off to the extreme

What happens with Inzaghi? Isnt he coming back from injury soonish? I read he may considering moving on from Milan.

Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
A replacement for Cassano no doubt.
He's looked decent for Catania since making the move, but I dunno how useful he'll be for Milan. He'll bring a completely different skill set from that of Cassano and it not be what Milan needs.

Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
Yeah, I know Milan dont really need him but I was just wondering specifically about Inzaghi.
I know he doesnt want to retire and I know he has talked about leaving if he isnt important to Milan anymore. Hope he can stay at a level where he is still playing European football.

Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
As for Maxi, I havent seen him since his Barca days. BUt I somehow doubt he has gotten faster and more mobile...how can he and Ibra play at the same time? Do alot of the same kinds of things.

Tbh ibra has been really mobile,he's always going back to the am position and creating chances.(another reason ibra-pato will be deadly)

True, Ibra likes to roam and does it well. Maybe its just two tall strikers seems so odd.

Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
Maxi does seem like a good finisher
Not many of our reguarly playing forwards put away their chances consistently, so Maxi could be useful in that regard

Re: Maxi Lopez to Milan
I was happy for this to go through if we played for a month and it became apparent that we needed a fresh face for the rotation given Cassano's absence, however I don't approve of this deal having not even given El Shaarawy a chance to show how he will mature when given more time with the first team.
As a player he's useful though, so I've no complaints on that front.

He will be vice Ibra. If Ibra gets injured or suspended we need someone to cover for him.
