I think Schweinsteiger is a great player, but nowhere near as great as seemingly everyone else. Outplayed by Nuri Sahin twice, outplayed by Spains Alonso and Xavi..he gets far too much credit for basically owning Barry and whoever else he was with and nobody in the Argentina midfield.

Again, a great great player but what I said above still applies.

Iker right now isnt good as Kahn, Buffon or even Peter Schmeichel at their peaks.

Ozil is great and Barca should of got him long before Cesc...maybe this isnt unpopular..

Podolski doesnt have a better left foot than Hulk, let alone Messi.

Snijeder's world cup will forever be grossly overrated, 5 deflection goals and no play making for a number 10 isnt great.

Lisandro Lopez is at the very least, just as good as Higuain.

Marcelo still isnt better than Abidal.

Perhaps it is my overly high opinion of him, but IMO Modric is still underrated, mostly by people here though.

I discussed the matter with Mole when the transfers happened. We needed Cesc more in CM area instead of Alonso than Ozil in AM and Ozil's overall game suited Farca a lot better Cesc is actually very direct, perfect for a counter team

13) Everyone secretly wants an oil billionaire to buy there team but they act like they hate them in the mean time.

14) Last but not least Bob Bradley was a really good coach and Klingsman is the worst thing that's happened to the USA national team in a long time. Furthermore with him at the helm we will not make it out of CONCACAF for the next world cup and we will become even more of a laughing stock on the world football stage.

Yea, it is the unpopular thread. For about 75% of these I've been killed on here for suggesting these things especially the Holland, Wilshire, Mexico, Damiao>Neymar, Spanish in EPL, Spurs!!!, Oil Billionaire ones.

I mean on those I've had huge long battles on this board. Some of the other ones look more like predictions now that I look back at it.
