Better. You know why? Because he doesn't bitch and moan when the going gets tough.

At the age of 32 he is by far one of the fastest players in the EPL while Torres is slower than Seedorf at walking pace.

He has the mentality of steel.

He is the archetypal Liverpool player.

The quintessential Shankly player.

I wouldn't trade him for anyone. If not for his knee he would play every single game with his engine still firing on all cylinders.

Highly underrated player.
