goal.com alternatives?
Now that the wise sages at goal.com decided to close the forum i no longer feel like i want to support goal.com.
However i did like the international coverage from goal.com, do you guys now of any other competent websites which cover news from the whole world?

Re: goal.com alternatives?
Well, for people who know German, kicker.de is an interesting alternative. spox.de and sport1.de give quite some info, too. And transfer news can be found on transfermarkt.de (which incidentally has an English version too by now).

Re: goal.com alternatives?
Goal.com just re-reported other news items broken hours before. We always knew stuff before they posted it...
For fans of Italian football I recommend Tuttomercatoweb.com who post news throughout the day not only from all Italian sources (LaStampa, Gazetta, Corriere etc..) but also prominent related (club specific) news from many sources worldwide. From Bild/Kicker/442 etc in Germany, The Indipendent/DailyMail/Sun in the UK, Marca/As in Spain and even Globesporte in Brazil...
The draw back if your Italian is limited is the dodgy translations, but still.
For Juventini in particular I recommend visiting sites like GLMDJ (Giu le mani della Juve) who offer a wealth of knowledge especially on Calciopoli, Vecchiasignora.com or UccelinoDelPiero.com for some very nice articles.
Finally for those interested in Italian youth football or youth football in general, some nice articles are posted on Generazione Di Talenti and their forum is a goldmine. Linked to a player you've actually never heard of? Chances are they have some info on him.

Re: goal.com alternatives?
Twitter is very unreliable though. Every day Arsenal reportedly make a bid for 3-5 players, but that is never true.

Re: goal.com alternatives?
Try transfermarkt.de - there the rumours get a probability percentage and only finalised deals are actually published as news.
