Cristiano...I felt was hurting a bit having not scored more ( he certainly tried 10 shots +the penalty Laughing

).

Overall...he did relatively well for Madrid this season.Hope next season he realizes he's of more use to the team as a centre forwad and develops his back to the goal game and hold up play.

I actually agree with that (the hold up play part), except that benz is the striker. Ronaldo's crosses have been very good too, and I don't want to lose that.

What frustrates me about ronaldo is that he has a fantastic physique and can outmuscle 85% of players at the very least, but he's not aggressive enough (not dirty speaking).

Meh, much ado about nothing. Fan and player banter is normal stuff really although I generally don't see the point in the player going at fans. One generally loses in all aspects. They out sing you, out number you and fans on the internet call you a c*nt player even though the crowd had nothing good to say about one's country, personality and club.

The part where he points at the crest, then points at the LFP logo made a very proud Madridista.

americans, canadians, pakistanis and indians arguing about the significance of a gesture made from the star player of a team from the capital towards a local star of a historically marginalized region.... you have to wonder, can we as foreigners really understand the implications of actions such as these? seems to have really deep political undertones that we probably cant fully associate with (excluding those posting from basque country/spain).

btw, not passing judgment on anyone at all here or trying to provoke anything, just always thought this forum was interesting for this exact reason.

This is funny. So I guess since nobody has heard of the malicious things said from the fans in any match-ups like Real-Barca Liverpool-United Inter-Milan Inter-Juve Schalke-Dortmund Real-Athletico etc etc.

Real Madrid fans telling me CR was right to respond to the fans is quite hilarious as I see this is the influence Mourinho quite obviously instilled into their mindsets as to respond to chant thrown at them. The Real Madrid I know and what it teaches there players wouldn't have such reactionary behavior. "Puta Madrid, Puta Espana" is a normal chant thrown by various clubs within the Liga and plus Madrid isn't the flagship of Espana. Which Portuguese chants? I didn't hear any. Does anyone know Euskera all of a sudden where they understand all the chants thrown at them which are dominantly in that language? These are fans, but as a player in a club of such stature you must retain the professionalism and class in not responding to them. Whole stadium? I guess you didn't hear most of the vile chants are coming from Bilbai Ultra Sud. And lets not act like Madrid's Ultra Sud are saints with their racist and disgusting chants within Europe.

CR needs to follow the example of Xabi, Casillas, and the elders within the RM board room.

P.S Javi did not say "I have won a world cup you haven't" Is this a joke?

So, if we say a barca player made the same thing against the real madrid fans, he would have every right to because you hear chants as "puta catalunya","die iniesta die" and "messi subnormal" whenever we play in santiago bernabeu (actaully "puta catalunya" you hear in every game whenever real madrid is winning even if they are not playing barca, like a real "segundon")? come off it

As much as I like Athletic and hate when someone mix football with politics, I am certain that I read somewhere(I didnt watch the game last night) on a spanish forum that the athletic fans were chanting "puta españa" and they even did it against Schalke IIRC..

But you are right what you say about ultra sur. Probably the most disgusting sets of fans of whole of spain. I have no idea of how the neo nazi got a section for themself :facepalm:

quite sad that we completely closed any chance to bring him to Madrid.Well i cant remember the last time Bilbao sold a player to us. He probably will not leave Bilbao,if he leave then i think he will go to PL.

That said Javi has no business there with Ronaldo,and judging from the video its clear that Javi started that cold war and he got pwnd by that inevitable Ronaldo gesture lol.

No Adit, it was commenced by CR's rude and classless gestures towards the fans while Javi simply did what any proud Bilbai would do and that is to confront the perpetrator.
