In the CL, PL clubs seem to be in decline but there are other smaller PL clubs that are growing stronger in recent seasons constantly challenging for a top 4 spot. So, overall EPL is really well balanced.

I'm pointing fingers at Man UTDs obvious referee advantages.
As for a example today
1 undeserved red
1 handball not given

Bullcrap.
2 footed challenge = Red card.
Ball hit Jones leg and rebounded of his arm. = Not deliberate, no penalty.

Yeah right a red card when he got the ball and Nani wasnt even hit , not by the ball and not by Kompany's legs ... this is at most a yellow card .
Wtf ? You know a lot of penalties are not deliberate in this world .... but they are given it hit his hand there it's a fking penalty .....
oh but what am i saying it looks like United is the new go to club for most of the arsenal fans today

He's a Real Madrid fan, and all other Arsenal fans agreed that Man City got robbed, you love to generalize don't you?

Re: Is EPL the new Serie A?
Mate, some Arsenal fans despise City for what they stand for, not because they bought 3 players from us. Kinda stupid for hating a club that gave us bucketloads of money for 2 players that have already flopped or are in the process of flopping :/
When it's United vs City in the league, I personally prefer to see the person who has less points win. If not, then my hatred for City exceeds that of United, so I'd prefer United to win. In all cases, if there was a possibility of both teams losing, then I'd prefer that. My hope was that they get a replay so that their players would be more fatigued, but for City to end up losing anyway.

I despise City aswell but there was a genuine robbery there and I can't help feeling sorry for that. They in no way deserved the result they got, I tought they were the better team in the match. Even with 10 men.

Re: Is EPL the new Serie A?
I am usually the first person to say all the conspiracy nonsense is just that, nonsense.
But todays game really makes you wonder. I mean there is just no need to give that Red card, give a yellow or a talking to or nothing, or even a yellow to Rooney for asking for a Red but I just don't see how he could have given that except to help United win. It's pretty obvious that they don't have a chance 11 on 11.
But it really wasn't the Red that made me think the fix was on it was the 3 minutes of added time. There were two goals scored in the second half a City player leaking blood everywhere out of his head stopping play for a bit, Kun stopping play for a punch in the face for a couple minutes, and a couple free kicks that took a long time to line up. Plus other stuff I'm forgetting. There should have been 5 minutes MINIMUM of extra time and if it was United down there would have been 10. It's like the ref just wanted to get the score in the books and get out of there.
I mean 3 minutes is like the standard extra time in a 0-0 game with no injuries, I just don't know how they could have called for that.

Re: Is EPL the new Serie A?
How did they get robbed, we got 3 yellow cards? They got that red
Why? EPL has clearly stated, two footed tackles like that are not premitted whatsoever, and theres no better way to set rules than setting examples. Had he hit Nani's leg, u all would see this differently, wouldnt u?
No senes in arguing about what ifs...

I actually agree 100%, if he hits Nani the red is deserved. BUT he didn't, and therefore you just can't give a straight Red there.
It actually parallels the Barca-Arsenal game last year when the ref gave RVP the red for "wasting time" by shooting after the whistle, technically it's a card but IT was just such a bad read of what really was going on in the game and the circumstances around it.
I was pissed because United came to play and didn't need the help at that point in the game, I would have loved to see a fair game.
