Re: Arsenal Lobby
Kevin-Prince Boateng article in 'The Sun':
"I'm not scared of Arsenal.
"The problem with Arsenal is one day they play amazing football and then they play really badly.
"In the end they don't have balance. They either play unbelievable football or they don't know what they're doing.
"It comes down to inexperience. Arsenal don't know what you have to do to win titles — they're always close but they break down. All their players are young, of course they're hungry but they don't know how to get this target.
"Without the experience it's difficult — to take the last step, experience is what you need. To win the league or to reach the semi-final or final of the Champions League you need experience.
"There's always something missing at Arsenal.
"That bit is the experience — we have so much of that at Milan and I think that's what they need."
These days you must spend money if you really want to have success.
"At the end it doesn't matter if you spend maybe £20million too much — because you're trying to win cups. And if you want to win cups you have to bring in fantastic players.
"Arsenal do have fantastic young players but, of course, if you bring two or three superstars it's a lot different.
"Even the other teams get scared. If you see the opponent has all these big names you say to yourself: 'Oh my God, who are we playing against today?'
"They have fantastic young footballers, they play like Barcelona — one-touch football and movement off the ball — but at the end it's always the weakness of inexperience."
"The problem when you have teams that are having their worst season is that they just wait for this one game to come out of the bulls**t. For them to win in Milan will get them out of the bulls**t.
"That's what we have to be aware of because there is a team coming with fantastic young footballers.
"OK, they're not having the best time but there's always one game that turns the page over so they're going to try to do everything to win."
"Of course what happened last year against Tottenham will motivate us.
"We want to prove we are among the best in Europe. The name of Milan is big.
"It's time to show we're still in the top five teams in the world and the Arsenal game comes along at a perfect time.
"When we played Barcelona this season everybody saw we can do battle with them.
"We just have to get hungry again and to be aggressive.
"This is the only thing that's important because in terms of the players and the quality we have we can go far.
"I don't want to say we're going to win this or that but with the team we have we can go far."

Would you enjoy seeing Fabregas not win any major silverware this season considering how he left you?

Now if you come on down to Highbury
You can see Thierry Henry
He is the best player you will ever see
Thierr-ierry Henry
Now if you come on down to Highbury
You can see Thierry Henry
He is the best player you will ever see
Thierr-ierry Henry
He used to play for Juve down in Italy
For a team they call "The Old Lady"
but when a call came from a place, Highbury
There was only one place that he was gonna be
He got a plane down to terminal three
Went to Hertz and got a red Ferrari
He drove it all the way down to Highbury
He signed the dotted line with a glass of chablis
Now if you come on down to Highbury
You can see Thierry Henry
He is the best player you will ever see
Thierr-ierry Henry
Now if you come on down to Highbury
You can see Thierry Henry
He is the best player you will ever see
He is the one the girls they fancy
They like his style, they like his smile, they love the way he talks
They love his style, they think he dresses like he's from New York
They like his style, they'd like to catch and take him to their room
So they can show him everything, go Mister Va Va Voom
He is the man, the number one, the greatest in the land
He strike a ball so beautiful, there is no greater man
He'll take you on, he'll take the piss, he'll leave you on your ass

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Milan stopper Thiago Silva has underlined that there is more to Arsenal than just Robin Van Persie.
The Dutchman is having a campaign to remember with the Premiership club, but the Brazilian international insists the London outfit are not a one-man team.
“Arsenal are a great side and we have to watch everyone and not just Van Persie,” stated the centre-back. “We have to monitor all of their players because they are all quality.
“If you talk about just one player today then maybe tomorrow it will be another one who has grabbed the headlines – we have to be careful about everyone.”
So who else should Milan need to keep an eye on in tomorrow’s Champions League first leg tie? Thiago Silva was in no doubt as he highlighted the ability of Thierry Henry.
“He's a player who’s had a great history, not just with Arsenal but also with France,” continued the defender.
“We must be careful because in every game where he comes on he does well. If you give him a little space he will certainly score, he has incomparable quality.
“Arsenal have a great squad of players, but so do we,” the South American continued. “It will be a great spectacle for the public.
“We hope to do well tomorrow – also so that we can ease the pressure on ourselves for the second leg, but we know either Van Persie or Henry could decide the match in one moment.”

There's someone speaking prudently^^
Boateng was right that we were shaky but he made us sound like a train off the tracks ffs. What's Milan's recent form looked like hmm?

Very eye-opening. Gets me wondering why Chelsea ever let Mourinho go, I mean dat 64/66 points
Needless to say, whenever Wenger leaves, I'd like to see Mourinho in charge.

That would be a massive shift in philosophy. Don't see it happening ever, not unless our board changes and Usmanov comes to become a complete owner or something.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
I would never ever want Mourinho at our club... ever. Just look how he left Chelsea and Inter, with their old/past it players. They can't sell their old/past it players even if they want He's there just for immediate success.
If I could choose, I'd choose Guardiola, Low or even Klopp over Mourinho.

Yes, we don't need immediate success. More building for the future would be wise. We don't have enough of that.

Arsenal have earned €298.9m from Champions League football - the highest of any club that has not won the tournament. (La Gazzetta)
