How highly do you rate Granit Xhaka?

FC Basel midfielder.

Very disciplined, good tackler, good passer. Very smart on decisions. Reminds me of legendary Jack Wilshere.

I feel he is very underrated because all eyes on Shaqiri, etc.

Never seen him play, but he is toughted as a hot prospect.

A move to Hamburg would be nice for his career, the Swiss league is very similar to the Bundesliga, and Granit would have the chance to develop more.

The thing is the albanian minority in Switzerland is huge. I mean Xhaka, Shaqiri, Mehmedi and Behrami they are all albanians. Therefore I do not believe he said that (although i am not sure), someone made a fake FB account, because they were booed all of the game. So someone maybe said that so hime (and the rest) do not get bad reputation among albanians.

wait this doesnt add up, if he didnt want to play all he had to say to the manager is that he is not mentally fit for the game. or he could have just lied and said he was sick and couldnt play the game. no need for him to do this.

He's got talent but his awareness is shocking and he's got zero discipline. Terrible tackler, defensively shocking.

I think with the right squad around him he could do a job, but in this Arsenal team he has no chance. And he's been a flop ever since coming. Either he needs to go or Wenger does, because he's a problem position at the moment.

he doesn't have the ability to defend or attack. All he is good at is to pass the ball. If wenger really needs to bring the best out of him he needs to build the entire team around him. But that inner voice in me still doesn't seem to think that it will work.
