we would win, if you are talking about full team vs full team, however if you are talking about recently? well we don't even have any fullbacks so...we are very vulnerable atm, i just hope some come back for feb against milan, as we cant attack well without proper fullbacks.

they didnt fail to qualify for the knockouts because they were poorer than lverkusen or chelsea, they werent clinical with the chances they got

Arsenal is packed with fast paced strikers and good midfield to do constant trouble for Valencia. Same can be said for Valencia so it may be a pretty close match. I definitely want to see Arsenal vs Valencia someday.

Imagine if Valencia had Villa, Silva and Mata in their current squad, bought Van der Wiel and a DM like M'Vila.

Arsenal destroyed Chelsea at stamford bridge while Valencia could not beat Chelsea. Football is not so black and white but I think people underestimate Arsenal because of the departure of Cesc and Nasri.
It would be an interesting match because Valencia are good at containing offensive possession football, but something tells me Arsenal is a class above Valencia.

Valecia would put up a good showing I am sure, it would be fantastic to see who had more possession.
If Arsenal had to play 4 CB´s at the back instead of Sagna and Andre Santos, then I am pretty sure Valencia would control possession and give themselves a big chance to win.
Full strength for both teams, I side with Arsenal as the better team. Not that the best team always wins.

Gervinho as a winger isnt as effective as the Jordi Alba/Mathieu combo
but then Arsenals defense is better, and Walcott is better than Pablo or Feghouli

Pretty sure Arsenal are better on paper, no doubt about that.
However, if Arsenal deploy Mertesacker or Squillaci expect them to be beaten if they use a highline. You guys will defo have to go with Koscielny & Vermaelen.
I think we will end up keeping more possesion though. Arsenal are more direct. Might not matter in the end.

For all of the crap Mertesacker has been given for his pace, not ONCE has it ever caused him a problem ever since he came.
Even if we deploy Mertesacker, it won't make a difference. Defense is a team game and he will always have either Koscielny or Vermaelen next to him, who both have tremendous pace anyway.
