Reports are gathering pace that Roma striker Marco Borriello will end the present campaign at Juventus.

The centre-forward will leave the Italian capital in January after failing to break into the first team plans of Luis Enrique.

Although the club bought him outright from Milan in the summer for €10m after his initial loan spell, the 29-year-old has started just two Serie A games this term.

League leaders Juve are keen on taking the Italian international on a temporary basis with an option to buy at the end of the campaign.

It was initially believed that the Giallorossi would only accept a loan offer if a club were forced to subsequently buy him.

Nevertheless, both the Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere dello Sport are suggesting that Roma will now allow a simple loan move.

The Gazzetta says that the Old Lady will hand over €1m to Roma for the former Genoa man. They could keep him for 2012-13 and beyond by paying a further €8m in the summer.

Tottenham, Marseille and Genoa have also been paired with the forward.
