The UFC had to move one of its events from Rio because the UN was having some kind of economic summit over here at the same time. There wasn't sufficient transportation and lodging to host both events. I don't even want to think about what's going to happen at the world cup.

Corinthians have the best defense in Libertadores' history, scored an away goal and will be playing at home.

It's theirs match to lose.

FIVE Shutouts in a row for Cassio In The Libertadores. First five starts at the Continental level ever and he's shut all 3 teams out.

Pragmatic FTW! I expect Liedson to be the lone striker next week with 9 behind the ball again.

very solid defending indeed. i'm counting on their good old libertadores flopping and some magic from neymar or ganso to go through to the final. but we have unfortunately become the underdogs.

And for those that understand Portuguese:

1. A Vila Belmiro revelou-se absolutamente imprópria para abrigar jogo tão importante;

2. O episódio do capacete é digno do Defensores del Chaco e o do apagão digno dos anos 50;

3. Ao jogar em seu campo o Santos acabou perdendo dinheiro, como já se sabia, e o jogo, como não se esperava, mas já tinha acontecido na primeira partida da final do Paulistinha em que Ronaldo Fenômeno barbarizou.

E a torcida que comparece à Vila é muito menos calorosa do que a que poderia ter estado no Morumbi;

4. Neymar está cansado, evidentemente;

5. O árbitro foi melhor do que se está dizendo.

Erro grave mesmo apenas a não marcação da falta em Emerson na entrada da área, mas fora dela.

Não poderia ter visto o pisão covarde de Durval em Jorge Henrique;

6. Não está nada decidido e uma virada será coisa rigorosamente normal.

Deserved victory for Boca. We were much better than Universidad. I hope we finish the job in Chile and I'm not going to lie, I prefer to play Corinthians in the final. I think Santos' pace will cause us lots of problems.

You in Europe atm?

I kind of sacrifice everything lol. But I am often free on Thursdays and sometimes Fridays, so I can just stay up or wake up right before the match. In the most extreme cases where it really isnt possible, I have to download it from rojadirecta.

P.S. I think Boca will go through. La U could pull something off, but I somehow doubt it. However I do NOT doubt that Santos can overturn a 0-1 Very Happy. Really hoping for a Santos-Boca final, to repeat 1963 the same way we repeated 1962 last year Very Happy

Yeah, I'm visiting family in Italy. I can't really download matches or stream them though, because my internet plan only gives me 10 gigs a month. Kind of a bummer.

I think Santos' pace will cause us lots of problems.

Playing Santos wouldve been easy...wouldve been like 4-0....

Corinthians will be a better test. A REAL defense for once

nope.. Corinthians >>>> Boca

Corinthians will know how to effectively shut down and frustrate a mentally weak Juan Roman Riquelme.

If we got one step in the final, Corinthians barely have half a step in the final. I don't mind saying Santos are the best team in Libertadores and on their good day will destroy Corinthians.

It's okay, you can say whatever you wants say now, cause I won't be seeing much of you after 20th June :coffee:

That being said, I want Corinthians to go through because I rather face the inferior.
