What was his transfer fee when joining Napoli from Palermo and was he actually though of as a replacement for Quagliarella who joined Juventus?
Quagliarella joined Juve on a loan deal, August 27th 2010 and Cavani joined Napoli on a loan deal, July 17th 2010. I know July is before August but Napoli did not invest in other strikers after Quagliarella's departure and again, what was Cavanis transfer fee? Less the Quagliagols or did Walter made the deal of the century?

Point: Cavani was thought as a temporary replacement but turned out to be a world class striker who Juve could have had if they chose Cavani over Quagliarella at that time(summer 2010)?
