5 years without Ale & Riccardo

Another year has gone by. Another without Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri. The two Bianconeri youngsters passed away five years ago to this day.

From that tragic moment on 15 December 2006, right up until the present day, the memory of Ale and Ricky has always remained with everyone, and not just Juventus fans. The Ferramosca and Neri families have played a vital role in ensuring the boys’ legacy will never fade, by establishing the ‘Riccardo Neri & Alessio Ferramosca’ charity association.

The two football clubs linked to the boys – Athletico Mirafiori and Castelfiorentino – have also sought to honour their memory by organising annual events and initiatives. And Juventus have held the ‘Ale & Ricky sempre nel cuore’ tournament every year since 2007. The competition, involving Giovanissimi sides, is contested on the pitch named after the players at Juventus Center.

On this fifth anniversary, the thoughts of all associated with Juventus Football Club are with the Ferramosca and Neri families.
