Why Do You Rate Oriol Romeu?

It's become obvious to me that most of you rate him highly because he came from Barca.......

Because it clearly cant be for his performances( every game he plays the player he is supposed to mark goes past him over and over again with ease) yet he's awesome lol

So why do you rate him, honestly ?

i saw him only once and he performed decently there. Saw a handful of videos too. Puts in tackles and passes the ball well. And he is young too. So most people are considering his potential too when rating him.

Nothing wrong with hyping Mole. If he is that bad, people will start noticing it eventually.

He has'nt even performed tho lol.......

Mikel showed more in sub performances tbf.

Chelsea fans seem gaga over him. Btw, he looks very elegant on the pitch with the ball. Could be a contributing factor.

I agree he gets owned far too easily but he's been doing well for us in only his first full season.

I rate him as a normal decent player. Nothing more.

- Romeu will soon get a call to play for Spanish National Team ( Mole we get owned)
- Montoya will be promoted to first team "Barca" next summer, shine & play for Spanish NT ( mole will get owned again )

Montoya is only going to get a call up because he plays for Barca, not because hes good

Same applies to Romeu.

Lots of politics are involved in international football, if Romeu and Montoya played for mid table clubs they would'nt get nowhere near Spains team.

But keep thinking Bartra, Fontas, Muniesa etc etc are good enough to replace Puyol

Its not like Spain has a short supplies of quality midfielders, khaled, so I dont think that he will get a call from the Spanish national team anytime soon

And Mole you need to get off his back ffs he's only 20 and he hasn't even been half as bad as you have been describing. Obviously there are moments when he is caught out of position or doesn't make the right run like for the goal we conceded against Man City but generally he's good. If he's that good at 20 in his first 3-4 games with us and first time he's actually getting a run of first team football in his career then that speaks volumes. Also a good artchitect from the back like when he created 2 goals for us against Valencia (which never would have come to fruit had Mikel been playing). Don't know why you're on him.

Name some young players who moved from their hometown to a different speaking country and in their first 4 games out preforms their long serving midfielder?

The kid has lots of potential, if he is doing what he is doing now, Imagine him when he is used to our system, players and way of life.

He is already better in the tackle and on the ball than Mikel, we all feel safer when Romeu is in DM because he won't lose the ball that easily.

And lastly, I don't rate him because he is from Bacra, he could be from a cannibalistic tribe in the amazon for all I care, I rate him because he has been preforming well.


He would walk into man Uniteds midfield IMO.
