Maicon will be fine, I saw a graph in which he was similar to Cashley in terms of season minutes rest and everything. At his age same with Cash performances will drop if they play 2-3 matches in a short period or what not, either way Maicon if wages are solid is a good signing.

Yeah Kalou got alot of stick from everybody(myself included) but he did put in some hard yards even if he wasn't the most talented player around so I wish him luck at Lille.

I'm one of those who never really hated him, yes he had crappy decision making but he brought something to the table we haven't had since like Robben days.

I've always maintained that his late season form was in the double season was a big factor in us winning the title that season, he was beast.

He's been good for Chelsea though. I still remember his equilizer against United when Scolari was on his way to lose Mourinho's unbeaten home record (although it was in vain later in the season)

And anyone who has watched behind the scenes clips can't deny his sense of humor and the fun he brings to the locker room

It's not like we need the money. And he's homegrown, English, and, let's not forget, one hell of a player. It makes no sense to sell him for money we don't need in the first place, only to have to go out and find another LB to succeed Cole when we already have a good one in our team.
