We "stole" Mata, although they robbed Park from Lille so they can't complain about anything.

I see no need in M'villa if Mikel can improve his passing & vision, I really want an RB and a CM.

I don't know why you love Joe Allen so much lol, he ain't good enough for us and he'll just stole Josh's spot.

Gimme someone 25-28 or so deep in CM, hell I wouldn't even mind a Sahin loan or such. We do have to think about home grown slots soon, Kalou and Bossi gone = Marin + Hazard in, Alex was swapped with Gary so that saved us one. Then Drogba and Anelkas spots to be taken, if Lukaku stays in England for his loan then he'll be considered home grown too.

Every time I watched him at Swansea he was classy, great passing range and decent in defence. One of the reasons swansea were so good. He is also homegrown and would be cheap. I imagine we could get him for under 10m plus loan of McEachran, which would mean Josh would start at a club which suits him.

He could then come back and we could either sell Joe or keep both a have Allen as Josh's back up. Yes, I have put a lot of thought into this.

The other option is to go for someone in their prime like you said but Allen would be cheaper.

I saw a bunch of Benfica games this season, i have to say Alex Witsel is the real deal. Imo i would take him over Fellaini and that scrub Joe Allen:P any day of the week, he is exactly the player we need so creative and versatile. I believe Lampard has 1-2 years left, hope to see Josh rotate with him this season. If we do sign another CM for me Witsel is the best choice.

I don't anticipate signing a CM, but you never know and i don't rule out bidding for Modric again after the Euros. Personally wouldn't want that, but i can see the club renewing interest in Modric.

Once Hazard has signed our main target should be a RB, if we can wrap that up before Euro we will be in a fantastic position!

Do we need a RB?

Personally i want to see Ramires at RB, think he would be fantastic with his pace, work rate, and ability to steal the ball.

It would take a brave manager and creative one to do something that bold(pep hmm

) like Guus did with Ivanovic.

He doesn't have the awareness of a RB, if he gained that he would be an amazing RB, but I prefer him on the wing.

If we buy Hulk I would be happy for Ramires to cover RB.

Yes, he would be fantastic as RB. But it would be immense injustice fir talent like ramires to play at that position.

Ramires is much more brilliant upfront, where he can create counters with his pace and run into space. If he is a RB this would leave the right flank badly exposed. Maybe Luiz to RB and Iva to CB.

Reports are circulating that Chelsea will pursue Hulk, who plies his trade at Porto, despite their acquisition of Hazard, and furthermore they're claiming that the two clubs are actually within £5M of a deal being made. This goes along with what we've been hearing out of Portugal for a little while - Hulk's eager to come to the Blues and Porto are willing to get things done.

I would argue he would have more space run into at RB then up front, we always played very deep when he was playing RW. He doesn't excel in tight spaces which is necessary as RW, he was very successful at Benfica as RM and also with Dunga's Brazil. He will be fine from an attacking standpoint if we get Hulk, Ramires can add width while Hulk cuts in.

I do think he will struggle when attackers overlap and from crosses, which is the main concern.

I think if Pep Guardiola was appointed the manager i can see him using Ramires as our version of Dani Alves.

RDM will most likely use him in the double pivot role.

I'm kinda iffy on VDW. Don't want us to buy crap when we could as well develop Kane. with Ivanovic as first choice. If we're to buy at all, I'd rather we got Debuchy.

Le Soir suggesting that Fellaini might be joining Hazard and co at #cfc. Reportedly also checking out Eddie Merckx.

Mikel, Fellaini, Ramires, and Lampard would give us great options.

Honestly i prefer Fellaini over Modric.

1. Don't have to deal with the Yids or give them money
2. If we are going to play Hulk-Hazard-Mata we need someone more like Fellaini with better defensive capability then Modric.

Yes, Fellaini is an improvement on Meireles and Essien, would be a great option with such an Attacking lineup.

i would not agree with you. Fellaini is more like Von Bommel. yes he has got great physiocal presence but he is nowhere near to standards of Essien.
