$100 bet worth it?

Congrats about the 6 points lead

But on a serious note will we extend that to 9? My friend was soo adamant that Barcelona will beat madrid at bernabeu on December 10th that he bet me $100 straight up and put the money forward.

I love Madrid and know realistically that we re a strong team but will this defeat and point difference give them extra strength and motivation to clench victory in our own home stadium?

FOr now we know they won't play for a draw, because they can't afford it, they will go for a win and thus leaving alot of space behind...

What will be the result? What are my chances of winning money lol

personally i hate bets, especially high bets and especially barca-madrid because anything can happen.

el clasico is a heart attack enough for me, attaching money to it and im sure to die whether in tears or joy.

However, I don't bet teams I can't emotionally detach from (RM, Dallas Cowboys, Stars, Mavs). I honestly don't even like to watch games I bet on.

You can see it this way, if you bet barca winning and they end up losing you should end up feeling happy. If RM lose then at least you made some money along the way to cheer you up.

Can be a win-win situation with reverse-jinxing as a huge factor

Me, personally, if I do end up doing this hypothetical bet I would end up burning the money, I consider this money to be tainted

Wait, I don't understand. So he's betting $100 that Barcelona will win outright? So even if Real draw, you get the $100? That's statistically a good bet for you then.

I was meant to win about 250 pounds in the copa del rey final last year as I bet on REAL winning, but in the end I *bleep* lost 78 pounds because goals in extra time dont COUNT!!!!!!!

You won't get a better opportunity than this. Sure it will be close and unpredictable, but I like our chances this year. If you can afford the $100 loss, then go for it.

I did something similar already It's more fun than betting money It's like asking for butthurt from one side

If Bill says it's worth it then it is. The experienced ones know when to bet and not to.
