Two of Barca's dream team league titles came on the last day and they had to wait for us to lose on the last day both times for it to happen Laughing

Capello destroyed him in a CL final after Cruyff took a collective dump on Milan just a few days before Laughing

He's cocky arrogant and watching him being served humble pie is fun. He was Mourinho before Mourinho was a coach. Only difference is that some of Sir Bobby's class rubbed off on Jose :coffee:

I am Johan's biggest fan on the board.
If the racism charge is proved it would be the saddest day in football for me.
But Cruyff has denied it and so has Davids.
Also even if what he allegedly said is true,it isnt racism.If true he is actually accusing the board of reverse racism.Not politically correct but then when has he ever been that.

Also I dont get the comments about his character.Granted he is arrogant.
But he is extremely idealistic.The man chose Barca over Madrid because of Franco's connection to Madrid.
He works a lot for charity and has been vociferous in his campaign for Barca being more than a club(the Unicef sponsorship and all).
Arrogant yes but a great person nonetheless.

A lot of people don't like him because he has a "big mouth". What they mean by this is that they read his controversial statements of his daily column in other articles and don't get the context, which are almost always well-reasoned or at least justifiable, as you would expect from a football genius.

That's what I would always give Old Man Johan credit for. Whenever he gives his rants, he always backs it up with a reasonable analysis of the situation. Reasonable doesn't equate to likable but you can always "see" where he is coming from. Also, I've learnt this a while now but you don't have to be a racist to say racist stuff. A lot of people do it to provoke a certain reaction out of the person.

Hope nothing comes out of this though.
