I think he can do just about anything Balo is capable of. The only thing Balo really has over him is physique and less injury prone, but Pato has the mentality and attitude of a champion.

Pato: 244 minutes played, 1 goal so a goal every 244 minutes.

Balotelli is better at passing, long shots and free kicks.

Yeah, let's ignore everything Pato has done and focus on a few games at the beginning of the season when he had no service because our team was unfit and struggling.

This thread is repeating so I'll say once more:

Balotelli's talent is more complete so as I said earlier, he has a higher ceiling, however Pato's talent is very well concentrated to what he needs to do on the pitch for the team. His build-up play isn't a burden on us, he's simply inconsistent and average as far as Brazilian strikers in this area and once he defeats his injuries this will improve greatly. As far as finishing goes, both are cold as ice, the dispute is over inches at best.

Pato has had a better career up until this point, however it doesn't affect which one is better at the moment - in terms of class not form - it simply means they've had different trajectories. Pato's reputation has been earnt over years though, Balotelli needs more than two months of form to be said to be realising his true potential.

If this was between two other players, everyone would be complaining about how everyone only rates Player X because he's in the Premier League. Because it suits however, Goal Legacy is suddenly the home of the objective fan.

Nah but seriously Pato doesn't have anything but speed over Balotelli

Balotelli has always had more potential but Pato was the better player every year except this one because he was getting more chances.

Balotelli can play either as a Prima or Seconda Punta.
Can play on either wings and wide forward positions.
Can also play in a 4-4-2(as in those winger roles)

Pato is averaging nearly 1 in 2 Balo just below 1 in 3 so I dont see how Balo i by far the better finisher as one guy is claiming

Pato is far quicker end of anyone who argues this is just stupid

however I do think Balo is more mature in his game, more complete at this stage of his development, Pato is explosive but also a little less refined but with his injuries its hard to develop consistently

for me now its Balo but things change quickly in football at the start of the season Balo couldn't even get a game
