Both suffered partial ligament tears in their knees.
It's going to be hard for Schalke to repalce both. Höwedes is their best defender and captain and
Farfan is probably their most important offensive weapon.

Thats two big losses, but they still have a strong squad. They still have raul, huntelaar, holtby, and jurado offensively, and metzelderat the back. They might drop some points becseof those injuries, but for the most part I think theyll be ok.

Bayern are missing Robben, Schweinsteiger, and Tymo and Boateng(I am not sure) very important players.

Our best Defender, Best Midfielder and best attacker.

Schalke will be able to deal with it.

Well, Schalke will very likely have to find a replacement for Farfan anyway as it doesn't appear as if he wants to extend his contract.
