Guy is an embarassment. Outclassed by Gabi of all people.

Not even going to mention his disaster in both legs against Dortmund.

How did he last the 120? Modric was miles better.

He's not been his usual best lately but I didn't think he was too poor, Atletico were not really possessing a lot of the ball for most of the match, they pressed a lot in the first half but couldn't sustain it in the second, Modric run the show in the middle, the team was creating a lot of chances we just couldn't finish it off.

You show a lot of disrespect to Gabi who has been one of our key players for some time, he is a consistent player.

True, captain zaragoza is a fantastic player that deserves more respect although he dived more than a fish today.

Alonso is past it, he gets mark and pressed out of important games like a noob. not to mention that our style of play doesnt favor his current abilities. been saying for the past two years that he should be phased out of our line up. I hope the next manager has the balls to take him out.

And Real Madrid fans kept telling me he's better than Schweinsteiger. Even this season Laughing

Schweinsteiger has been better than him ever since he was moved to the center. The gap has only been getting bigger and bigger since.

Even as a Atleti fan, I hugely respect Alonso. He is class, but clearly past it. But 2 years ago, I would have taken Alonso over schweini without a doubt. He is too slow now and makes too many unforced errors.

Alonso is past it and always starts. We need a slight refresh in the midfield for sure.
