Cesc To Milan?

Lots of reports coming in through Italian online news sources saying that Arsenal have accepted a 30m + Emanuelson bid for Cesc. It seems as though now the move is only waiting on Cesc to see if Barca will make an acceptable move for him and if so then he will snub Milan.

What do you think about it? Too cheap? Do you rate Emanuelson? Just a bullshit report?

All the Cesc to Milan news is coming from calciomercatoseriea.it .Some other transfer sites referring to it. No independent confirmation yet

The Cesc deal as reported is:30mn in 3 yrly installments, Urby Emanuelson and 5m related to bonuses. Cesc gets 5.3m for 5 years

Arsene Wenger just said yesterday that Cesc is an Arsenal player and will be an Arsenal player for a long time.
Cesc has absolutely no interest in any team other than Barcelona; if he is to leave Arsenal then it will only be to them.
I absolutely do not rate Emmanuelson. It is reported that we rejected a bid of 30m + Bojan/Thiago for Fabregas....It makes no sense if we were to accept that measly bid from Milan. 30 m + Emmanuelson is a joke, pretty much.

Conclusion: BS report. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

I thought this rumour had been debunked ages ago; something about Milan's president saying Cesc was too expensive or something along those lines.

Basically, it's not going to happen. Arsenal have been rejecting bids from Barcelona (supposedly) of £30,000,000 plus players like Bojan and Thiago. Disregarding the ability of Emmanuelson, Arsenal aren't going to accept a similar offer from another team.

Arsenal probably wouldn't accept £30,000,000 over three years either. I'm pretty sure that any other they would accept would include the majority of the cash up front so that they can reinvest immediately.

So yeah, bullshit rumour. If Milan seriously want Fabregas than they're going to have to caugh up £40,000,000+.

Ok so I agree mostly with you post but this part is iffy. 30m + Bojan / Thiago = 40m IMO
30m + Emanuelson = 35m (again, IMO)

Cesc wants to join barca, we all know that. But that doesnt mean he wants to leave Arsenal. Two different things

If barca dont get him, then cesc will stay at arsenal for the rest of his life. Rumours arnt credible at all.

1) Our president never said that. In fact, Milan have released no statements about Cesc in the passed few months..,

2) Yeah, agreed. But then again BARCA accepted 24m over 4 years for Ibra (the douchebags)

1) Goes to show that Goal.com is reliable for nothing.

2) Two different situations. Barcelona wanted desperately to sell Ibrahimovic and were happy to offload him relatively cheaply. They already had the funds for David Villa, as well. Arsenal are desperately trying to keep Fabregas and it's going to take a pretty sweet deal to get them to sell him.

30 million over 3 years is the joke bit. If we are to sell Fabregas then we will want most of the money up front like Jay said. 30 million is 10-20 million too short and the payment method is not favorable

Not to mention, at least Thiago is a player with a lot of potential. Emmanuelson is a player of no use to us whatsoever

You can have Denilson, Bendtner and Rosicky, though. Rosicky is in prime Milan age Wink

Probably BS, in the Market we live in today I only see him going for 60m no less, and even then I don't see Wenger letting him go this transfer window, he just said yesterday that he's going nowhere. I see him here for another 2 years, could be completely wrong, but Wenger is stubborn and he's not stupid.
