Kenny Dalglish Tells LFC fans not to go to the Chelsea v LFC CC game.

I understand where he is coming from in the fact that both City and LFC both agreed to move their game to Saturday, but SS declined it because of their tv rights, and the fact that Stoke is playing on Monday would have been moved had Stoke beaten LFC in the CC.

But to suggest that LFC fans should boycott this match is out of order imo and is taking this matter OTT. It would have been no different had LFC been in European competition.

We have two games in 48 hours.

The latter is the League Cup game and if Dalglish feels like advicing LFC fans to think twice before buying tickets, because we might be forced to field a very B-side, I see no problem with that.

Yeah boycott was the wrong word to use. But surely has the squad to rotate. I remember Utd in 09 played Aston Villa on a Sunday then played Porto in the quarter finals on a Tuesday. Nothing was said.

It's the same for City and they haven't complained about the fixture.

I think it's OK as a competition. Won't be upset if Chelsea knock us out, though.

well Liverpool has no Chance of winning anything other then the cups.... and Carling Cup is the easy one...
