Skysports News are reporting this too..... i actually think if they want a new manager in then Kenny needs ridding of.... they cant have a New manager and Kenny's shadow over looking him....

For Liverpool to move on i think if Kenny is'nt going to be manager he needs to go full stop....

Well, I guess Liverpool is starting to make the announced transformation in the coaching area with the likes of Txiki most likely arriving.

He had a tough season, but got to an FA cup final.

It's all for the good of Liverpool at the end of the day

They are coming from so far behind that they dont exactly have the choice do they?

Unless they go on a spending frenzy and attract the best talents across Europe, which i doubt will happen.

Hopefully the new manager's kinda proven. Also WC/technical players need to be bought, not average EPL players.

Martinez wtf....While Wigan's repeated last-second survivals are impressive, im not sure something like that makes someone a good manager

Would Martinez be any different than Roy? Struggle vs small clubs but do well vs big teams because of small-club mentality?

I can definitely think of better options IMO

Yes he would, the difference is that Martinez is actually a gifted manager who understands tactics and has a clear philosophy on how the game is played and what skill sets his players should have.

He manages Wigan so he can't attract great players but he does try to sign players who are above average technically.

Swansea's resurgence as a football club is largely down to his efforts as well.

Martinez manages a small club but they play like how a big club would, vastly different to the underdog football Roy advocates.

Bring back Rafa.

Rodgers or Lambert would be good for Liverpool

Although that puts me in a bit of a bind...I like both of them but don't like Liverpool

I think he deserves a shot at managing a big club like LFC. He had Wigan playing some great football and is also the one who set the blueprint for Swansea's pass and posession football that Rodgers adopted.

A very likeable and respected man too. He would do well there (unfortunately).

No sign of RedOranje squashing rumours. Must be somewhat true...

Red reckons they are struggling to attract some of thier targets so your probably right.

I think if the management is indeed going to be Txiki running the team, then it makes sense that they sign a spanish coach like Martinez.
