I may have misled you with my wording in the earlier post (there is no deal yet, but we are prepared to pay and provide to make one happen).

Kun* and Neymar aren't primadonas. If they're asked to track back by Mou or pass, they'd do it. I've never seen a talented Brazilian or German who didn't pass to their teammates in good positions

I don't trust Benz that much. We'd need two people for safety purposes. If CR7 is sold, we need both Kunt and Benz.It would be more than enough, if one fails the other will compensate

When your team is changing as much as ours, a brute player like Ronaldo is good and productive because he can score goals on his own. But when it comes down to building up something organic and cohesive, individuals such as ronaldo makes things a lot more difficult at times. Im sure Mourinho would want to play him as CF because he offers little defensively, but he wants to stick to the wing. And he makes our game so much about him that people think he is irreplaceable.

If ronaldo leaves, all we have to do is pass the football more often and play in quicker touches, problem solved. DOnt think in terms of replacing him position per position or role per role, that will never work.

The most important part, we 'll become unpredictable. In theory any of the front 4 should be able to score a lot, in practice , most of the goals are on CR7's account. The reason isn't that the others are bad, they just don't get the chance

well yeah, they dont have the array of talent we have. we will fair much better. there is always a transition period when you lose such a polarizing player in your team, but i honestly think we could do without.
