hmmm Doc, how long do we have to wait???? we have waited beyond 8 clasicos he still hasnt changed

yet he is untouchable which is what pisses me off to no end

To be honest dear Hala, I don't know. Who knows, maybe he'll never be able to shake off that monkey off his back and be a better player against Barcelona. Maybe he would. Maybe he took a serious look within himself and realised that he honestly needs to do a whole lot better but then again, maybe he is too egotistic to see such things.

However, I'm not gonna put a man under the guillotine for 2 matches. He has done quite a bit for the other 36 for me not to feed him to the wolves. Not yet anyway. You're right though, he needs to see that he isn't untouchable. A few games on the bench might actually put things in perspective for him.

id love him to change, maybe a stint as a CF against Barca would do him good, Pique had troubles with him i noticed

he honestly has to be less selfish and let the real freekick takers have some fair share of the freekicks, those ones are just being wasted

there was a time where i would say "oh this is a goal surely" whenever he took a freekick

nowadays its just "ohh wall again is it"

as much as he loves attention he could do that against teams we wont get punished against and leave it to xabi and ozil against teams where we wouldnt get as many chances to score just my opinion on it all

him not celebrating against ponferradina showed that he himself knew he shouldve given more and is probably unhappy with himself...good signs

anyways the next clasico is in April, still a lot left, who knows what might happen then, he might be injured for all we know

but until then he should score and become the team player he was prior to the clasico, that clash isnt all but i am not gonna lie the title without beating barca is still depressing

Hope Mou grows himself out of the portuguese nutshell and realise that there are other players in form as well that could easily do better than some of his portuguese counter parts...enough of the clasico tbh, everytime i think about it i cringe, why do we create chances and miss on nearly all of them whereas barca score on the minimal chances they get... it might be due to pressure/confidence but Benzema who sucked donkey balls against barca last season stepped up big time this time around

Maybe its just ronaldo who cant improve again the specific team, guess we gonna have to wait and see

season is long, if we win vs sevilla we will still be ahead by 3 points and nearly all tricky teams away from home out of the way

He the most selfish players ever, scoring a freekick against relegation side shouldnt make him take and trash all the freekicks against top teams, some one try to get a freekick and he waves and goes made like someone smashed his balls.

Leaving his side exposed most of the times, what he think the world revolves around him, that he doesnt need to defend cuz he is the great ronaldo who flops against top sides and bashes the weak ones.

Taking 10 long shots in a game, cant get past average defenders, demands to be given ball all the time, doesnt pass to open players.

And btw, he is untouchable, cuz the best coach in the world is too much of ass kisser of his.

Mou really really need to grow some balls here. Ronaldo is dead to me.

I dont care if he performs in a game latter this season, that just doesnt erase the shit he has done in the past 5/6 matches.

It's not like missing chances was all he did in that game.
Missing chances + a bit involved in creating other chance + scored the winner = having a mixed game.
The missing chances part was sucked, but in overall he didn't suck imo.

Selling him anytime soon is not gonna happen anyway and he's still a great player with great qualities that can make a difference. He really shouldn't be untouchable though, he isn't that perfect to be untouchable.

I don't feel he's as selfish as some made him out to be, but he's surely need to improve his decision making that's never great to begin with and not only vs barca, it's just rarely costed us vs other team.

I don't think Argentina can turn a 200 million dollar profit by getting rid of Lionel Messi.

In all probability they'd lose money.

With teams like ANZHI and Man City out there we'd be idiots to not sell him before FFP.Until then, from a footballing standpoint , he should stay.

many professional players can score that in training, and that is what it was... sevillas defense put as much pressure as you have when training with a ball on the pitch alone. callejon played better. and of course di maria too. nobody is doubting his ability.. we all know this guy practices more than anyone else and works on his body too, resulting in speed, good shots, free kicks, etc... but he cant apply his raw skill/talent in the game, unless there is 0 pressure from defense like today?
